CRF300L starter relay switch problem

Hey everyone,

Ran into a weird electrical issue with my CRF300L this morning and could use some help diagnosing it.

Turned the key, dash lit up like normal. But when I hit the starter button, the starter relay just clicks super fast (like a machine gun) and the lights dim heavily. There's definitely a massive voltage drop because the dash actually resets itself every time I try.

We tried to bump start it. It took a lot of effort but it finally fired up. However, it runs absolutely terrible—the idle is super rough, it won't hold RPMs properly, and the dash lights (including the ABS indicator) keep flashing like crazy.

What I've checked so far:

Battery: I thought it was a dead battery right away, but I tried swapping it with another known good battery and got the exact same result.

Fuses: Checked them all, none of them are blown.

Has anyone dealt with this before?

Any advice?

Thanks

2-Year Long-Term Review: Wink Graphic Kit for Honda Africa Twin

https://reddit.com/link/1udrsrl/video/dfjtl1bh539h1/player

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share my two-year experience with a full custom graphic kit I received from W-ink graphics for my Honda Africa Twin.I’ve put it through hell so here are my honest thoughts.

I got the max thickness version and usually thick graphics are a nightmare to install and you need to abuse the heat gun for hours. Surprisingly this stuff was super easy to apply.

After 2 full years, through snow, heavy rain and a full trip in the Morocco desert (heat and sand), the graphics are still perfect. Just one peeled corner.

I dropped the AT countless times on rocks and gravel, and the vinyl took all the hits without any problem. I can't say about plastics underneath, because graphics are still on the bike.

The custom process was the best part and it’s free. I didn't want a standard kit so I sent them a file with my own vector graphics and a presentation showing where I wanted things. They sent me 2 or 3 previews until it was exactly what I wanted.

Print quality is super sharp, delivery took less than a month and price is pretty much the same as kits on other brands.

Highly recommend them if you want real protection that lasts.

Just some suggestions... be careful about the color...if you want something specific better is to ask for a specific colour code for each part.

The only thing I don't like is that the custom graphics will be sold on their site . This is a company policy not negotiable.

Anyone using the JC SuperFlow on a CRF300L? Looking for a budget way to richen the fueling

Hi everyone,

I'm riding a Honda CRF300L with a Twin Air filter and otherwise stock intake and exhaust.

I'm looking for a relatively inexpensive way to richen the fueling a bit. My main goals are:

smoother throttle response

a little more torque and "fullness" at low RPM

reducing the lean feeling common on Euro 5 bikes

possibly lowering combustion temperatures slightly during slow off-road riding

I've come across the JC SuperFlow module, which costs around €116 shipped in my area. On paper it looks interesting, but I haven't been able to find many independent reviews or long-term experiences, especially from CRF300L owners.

Has anyone here actually used the JC SuperFlow?

Did you notice a meaningful improvement?

Any issues with reliability or fuel consumption?

Is it a true piggyback fuel controller or more of a sensor-based workaround?

Would you buy it again?

I'm also interested in other budget-friendly solutions (around €150 max), such as IAT modules, BoosterPlug-style devices, EJK, etc.

Thanks 🙏🙏🙏
