Newcomer in art direction - feedback for Tom Ford inspired visuals

Running a small AI art direction studio and currently building my portfolio. This set is my take on the Tom Ford Gucci years.

For me that era has a very specific grammar - it's not just "dark luxury." It's the contrast, the skin, the way shadow works almost like a structural element. Sensual but precise. So I tried to reverse-engineer that before touching any tool - references, textures, the emotional temperature, and built the prompt last.

Curious if it actually reads as that specific moment or just falls into generic luxury territory. Be honest, that's the only useful feedback.

Also open to tools, references I might be missing, what you'd do differently

Feedback - starting a branding agency

Hi, I would like some feedback on my visual direction. I am trying to build an online portfolio of work; this one is inspired by the Gucci by Tom Ford era. Let me know what you guys think, and what tools you use in your every day

Starting an AI brand agency

I'm starting an AI brand agency, offering content and video generation for fashion retail, beauty and lifestyle. But for more upscale branding. I'm thinking of showcasing my taste on social medias, but any tips on how to get your first client?

Currently building a taste-driven shopping platform

A month ago I got stuck on this idea: everyone knows what they want when they shop, they just don't have the vocabulary for it. So they type something vague into a search bar, or save 300 screenshots that never go anywhere.

And search doesn't even really try to solve that. What shows up first isn't the best match to your taste, it's whoever paid the most. Every platform is drowning in ads at this point, even when you DO have the words. So I'm building the product that contradicts this experience.

Problem: it's me and one developer. I do vision/direction/research, while the person builds. Marketing landed on me too and it is genuinely not how my brain works. Visual thinker, zero video editing skills, good at ideas but suck at video content. Our current goal is to create awareness about the pain point across SoMe channels, then tease about the sign up to pre-launch.

So, what actually worked for you when you started from zero marketing instinct? Real tools, real workflows, not the generic "just be consistent" answer. Also, happy to connect :)

Cheers
