Anyone have pics of the jets flyby on the Ottawa River today. Apparently 2 Canadian and 2 American jets in formation for a 4th celebration thing.

Not necessarily prepping related, but its rural so ill give a tey. Father in law passed this past spring. Mother in law is less than mobil, and has raised concerns with her not being able to get to the basement to check her sump pump. The advice ive gotten so far is to get a large Generac genny, that can run the house. Or, a mastercraft unit with a back up pump.

Shes running a 1/2hp pump now, which according to Jackery has a 4000w surge/peak, and 1050w running. Seems wildly overrated, and an unnecessary cash grab.

I dont know much about pumps or power back ups, been stuck in city for 50 years. I think the most hands off fix is best, in the basement for 1, and she aint no tech savant for 2. Cost isnt really an issue, but $17000 for a full house Generac, or even $4000 for the suggested Jackery, is crazy in my head.

Any advice welcome and appreciated.

We have a big game on sunday, as im sure you know. This is the first time Canada has made it past the round robin. This is a big deal. We need as many fans sending hope and love to our team as possible. If your willing to open the Peace Tower lawn, maybe pull some strings for big butt speakers, ill rent the screen. Landsdown is great. Everyone loves Lebreton. This needs to be a Parliment Hill gig.

Morning. Just got out of a collage welding program, not in the US, and they "ABSOLUTELY" do not weave. Only the US weaves. Their explanation is that the weave make the bead to wide, heance weaker.

So, is this a fair reason not to weave. Are there benifits to weaving? Why does the US weave, if the rest of the world say its weaker?

I feel its much more interesting to do all day than straight beads, but my stuff is much smaller, and dosnt require more than little tacks

What if im just absolute garbage in a fight? I can move the stuff with the mind. I can wave the hand to deceive or manipulate. Super jumps, check. Commune with the dead, done. Travel to Ilum, hike a glass cave looking for one freekin gem that talks to me, got selfies.
