2012 and 10,000 BC were directed by Roland Emmerich, who has famously directed several disaster movies.
Perhaps even downright dishonorable. If you cannot watch a movie at regular speed, why watch it at all? You would not hear a song at 2x speed, so the same applies to a movie. Do people do it to be able to watch more movies?
I doubt anyone expected Aquaman to make that much money. As much as I love Batman, I hope the DCU delivers more high quality non-Batman movies.
