Game audio gets delayed/cuts out during moments

So i was rewatching my clips until my audio gets delayed in a moment. I dont know why this is happening, and im pretty sure i didn't had this issue when first getting medal.

When I play the video inside the Medal app, a delay suddenly happens right in a moment. If I click on the exact timeline spot where the delay started, it seems to vanish and the audio doesn't get delayed.

However, when I open the actual mp4 file outside of Medal, that specific moment, the audio completely cuts out and goes completely silent for about 0.5 to 1 second right where that delay happens.

I am on the website version of Roblox, using an AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT, and my encoder is GPU/AV1. I've already tried turning off Exclusive Mode, matching my sample rates, turning off Separate Audio Tracks, and lowering my bitrate, but it still cuts out.

Why does this keep happening, and how do I fix it?

Unpopular Opinion: Martial Artist has the BEST ultimate music in the entire game

Obviously this is just an opinion and not a fact, but someone HAD to say it. Martial Artist has the best ultimate music in the game. Everyone praises for Garou's ult, Cosmic Garou's ult, or Tech Prodigy's ult, and they are all really good, I love them. But in my opinion, Martial Artist clears all of them. I mean just hear it man, it's so CINEMA. It is Top 1, or at the very least Top 3, and it's not even close. Change my mind.

Is using backdash cancel macro actually cheating?

I can do backdash cancel manually with auto active turned off, but my gameplay becomes much worse, so I want to keep it on. My 65ms ping makes the timing inconsistent at least for me. So is using a macro just a mechanic everyone uses by now, or is it still cheating? Let me know your thoughts.

Thoughts on the Alesis Strike Max?

For your information, here are the specs of the Alesis Strike Max. It's a Guitar Center exclusive that basically upgrades the Nitro Max, and it costs $499. Both kits share the exact same 4-post rack, 10" dual-zone mesh snare, three 8" toms, and 6" kick tower. However, the Strike Max turns into a 9-piece kit by adding a second crash cymbal. The biggest difference is inside the module, which features officially licensed Zildjian cymbal samples built into the module and bundles the $99 Zildjian Session Mix Vol. 1 expansion for the BFD Player software. Visually, you can get it either Black Galaxy or Red Nebula wrapped finishes (screens of both attached).

Does anyone know where I can find these exact speed lines?

I keep seeing this exact same speed line overlay used everywhere (attached an image showing a few examples from different videos). The lines are identical, so I know it must be from a popular PNG. Does anyone know where is this exact one? (I've already tried searching "anime speed lines" but they don't match this one). Thanks in advance!

My budget is strictly $2k. Is there any real reason to stress over the TD516?

Hey guys, quick follow-up. I consider myself a developing intermediate drummer, and my absolute maximum budget is strictly $2,000 and I literally cannot go higher.

Since the Roland TD316 uses the exact same V31 sound engine and motherboard processing as the 5 series am I really losing out on anything major? Since the 316 has a digital port on the back anyway, can't I just buy this now and upgrade to a digital snare later when I have my own cash? Or am I missing something big?

Where can I find sheet music, tabs, or chords for the Rec Room OST?

Hey everyone! I want to learn the Rec Room soundtrack on real instruments. I can't play by ear and need the exact notation. Does anyone know where to find accurate sheet music, guitar tabs, chord charts, or drum guides for the game's songs?

Any links or video tutorials would be amazing. Thanks!

Upgrading from TD-07KV to TD316 soon: Is it a massive upgrade?

I’m currently playing on a Roland TD-07KV, but those 6-inch toms and the sounds are really not that great (still good for a beginner, however). Is the jump to the Roland TD316 really that big of a leap? Will the bigger pads and the new sound engine feel like a completely different world? Let me know your honest thoughts!

Getting the Roland TD-316. What are the upsides and downsides from it?

Hey everyone! Looking for an e-kit that can last me like 2 years minimum. I want to play rock like Van Halen, casual jamming, and maybe a future garage band. Space and noise aren't issues.

I almost bought the Alesis Strata Core for its acoustic BFD sounds, but the module freezing once in a while wasn't really worth it, atleast for me.

I’m planning to get the Roland TD316 instead for reliability. To fix the Roland sounds, I’ll plug it into a VST, or even use the Roland Cloud.

Before I buy, what are the honest downsides of the TD316? Is it the sounds? All of the cymbals not being triple zone? Let me know!

I captured over 1,750+ photos to preserve our Rec Room memories before the lights went out.

Now that the lights are officially out, I’m sharing the final, completed version of my Rec Room photography archive project (again).

I stayed out there taking pictures with the camera right up until the final days to make sure nothing was missed. The master folder is 100% complete with over 1,750+ photos covering the structures of Coach's games and all our memories of hanging out together.

The game might be gone, but this archive belongs to the community now so we can always look back on these places. Swiped through the preview images to see some highlights!

How do I scale a Roblox voice chat channel past 200 subs and hit 1,000? (Currently at 197 subs)

Hey everyone! I’m currently at 197 subscribers. I used to be a RDR2 channel a year ago, and my biggest lifetime hit is actually a 52K view long-form video, but that was a one-off sponsored shoutout from a big creator so it doesn't count toward my current momentum.

Right now, I am focusing on a Roblox channel. My biggest recent hit is a Roblox clip with 3.2K views. My goal is to cross my 200-sub milestone this week or next week and push all the way to 1,000 subscribers. I am focusing mostly on Shorts right now to grow, but I want to keep the door open for long-form videos later once my community expands.

My content strategy is simple, I just jump into popular games like Murder Mystery 2 and The Strongest Battlegrounds and record myself having fun. Now since I have VC, If the server had a funny voice chat moment, I clip it. If not, I just capture the funny gameplay moments. My style relies on my personality, a distorted funny mic, and a simple bold text at the top of the screen to set up the joke for high retention.

(Note: I know the rule I always hear about is "don't just play the game, have a narrative." so I try to make sure each Short has a clear mini-story or punchline right away.)

For creators who have successfully hit 1,000+ subscribers on a Roblox channel or any gaming channel:

  1. What is the fastest way to bridge the gap from 200 to 1,000 subs when your content is based on personality/chaos rather than high-level editing or animation?
  2. Since Roblox public servers can sometimes be toxic or totally silent, how do you consistently source funny moments without burning out?
  3. Should I focus strictly on daily uploads to hit 1k fast, or is 3 times a week enough for the algorithm to keep pushing a short, high-energy format?

Thanks for any tips!

Is the Alesis Strata Core worth it for a bedroom drummer?

Hey everyone! I am planning to upgrade to the Alesis Strata Core soon for bedroom jamming (mostly just practicing and playing along to drumless tracks for fun). I really want that modern touchscreen and the built-in acoustic sounds, but I want to make sure it's actually worth the investment.

I play with standard, medium dynamics (not a light hitter, but not smashing the kit either). I already know to manually calibrate the hi-hat optical sensors and tweak the crosstalk thresholds right away to optimize the tracking.

For those of you who own the Strata Core and play it, is the kit truly worth it? How has the durability and the triggering of the cymbals and the pads held up over time?

Would love to hear thoughts from owners. Thanks!

Is it just me, or whenever I see orange I think of rec room?

It’s been two weeks since the shutdown and every time I see orange in real life, I instantly think of the game.

Does this happen to anyone else, or am I just losing it?

The Rec Room Photography Archive Project

Now that the game is officially ending soon, I wanted to share a live photography project I’ve been working on since the shutdown notice. I’ve been taking handheld photos across almost all of Coach's games to capture the nostalgic soul of these environments before school's out.

I have taken photos across almost every single one of Coach's games to capture how they look (like the cover photo!). I've also taken all of the Paintball maps with over 50+ photos per map (except the Lobby), and the Quests (only the beginning), Laser Tag, 3D Charades, Rec Center, and more!

Note: This is a live project! I am still actively taking photos on Rec Room, so more photos will keep filling up with more photos every day until June 1st.

I'll be dropping the Google Drive folder below. Let me know what you think!

UPDATE: The used TD-17 guy ghosted me, but I'm gonna get a Roland TD-07KV with a Noise Eater pedal for $725 soon! How did I do?

The used TD-17KV2 listing I posted about previously didn't work because the seller ghosted me.

I found an active local listing and just got a Roland TD-07KV for $725, and the kit includes a Roland RDH-100A Noise Eater Kick Pedal.

Given how much the pedal costs (like $250), I thought it would be a pretty good kick pedal for my first e kit. The plan is to learn on the TD-07 and eventually upgrade to a used TD-17.
Thanks for the previous advice. Did I make the right call?
