Are there labs next week for the first week or do they start the 2nd?

Has anyone taken bio 224 & 251 in the same semester? Is it somewhat manageable or do you think they should be taken separate? My advisor planned me out to take them together next semester (applying for nursing program by the sept. 1, 2027 deadline) but not sure if it will be too much to handle

Textbook needed for bio 223 with Aulner?? I’d like to buy the required book asap so I can start going over the material early but not sure when it will be available to buy

Anyone have experience at Highlands Animal Care? I just got a new 10 week mini dachshund and am trying to find a good vet. I know that one is near MacDonald highlands so I’m worried it will be extremely expensive for the area but am open to all suggestions! I currently have her scheduled at Cactus Pet Hospital but they can’t get me in until Thursday and I’d like to be able to get her checked out sooner than that(:

Anybody have a favorite health advisor who has been helpful for them? I am making an appointment tonight to schedule a meeting to change my major and would love to know your thoughts on people you have seen!

Are most of you getting your BSN at CSN or transferring to NSU? If you transferred, how is the experience? Does NSU require additional pre reqs? I am changing my major from sonography to nursing and am looking at options for the future!

Why did they get rid of celebration cake/cake batter as a classic cookie?!?! I am soooo devastated that was my favorite one and was so happy it was a permanent cookie

So I’m in sort of a hard spot and very unsure of what to do. I’m currently taking pre reqs for sonography but am VERY worried about not getting into the program because of how competitive it is and considering they only start once a year. How is it getting into the nursing program? Is it a lot easier than sonography? That’s what I was initially going to go into since I used to be a CNA and I have my aesthetic license so I could go on soo many different avenues with that. I’m just so unsure because I do want to move out of state once I finish school but if I don’t get into sonography that would put me so far behind and having to stay in Vegas even longer. Advice plz!
