So I’ve been having this issue for the past few weeks, and I really hope someone can help…

Background: I do not have an Apple Music subscription, but I do transfer ripped MP3s from my windows pc to the iPhone using the Apple devices app, so I can listen while offline.

As of late, my iPhone will just delete most of my music all on its own. I only have 2GB of music in the first place, and it always removes about 1.8GB. The remaining music seems random. It’s an assortment of the ripped music and songs bought directly through iTunes back in the day. Today I watched my music library implode in real time after I tapped on shuffle. It was like someone thanos-snapped my library.

In forums people say it’s one of two things: storage optimization or a syncing issue.

Despite what the forum users claim, there is no “optimize storage” switch in the music section of settings (maybe it was removed). Also, I still have 5GB of space left when the full library is on my phone…

As for syncing: the Apple devices program I use to sync music through windows is indeed very buggy, but this all happens days later after my iPhone has been unplugged from the pc. It’s also connected to the internet the whole time, so why now?

I’m really hoping someone can help because the music app has become pretty much unusable, and I’d hate to switch to android just so I can listen to music…

So I just started the second half of season three, and I feel like I’m watching a very different show. So many of these relationships seem irreparably awful. The forced open relationship is horrible. And then the one guy is almost proud to have cheated on his wife. This just feels like I’m watching horrible people torture their partners for the thrill of it.

Does the show shift to this more one-sided awfulness in the couples? Because I don’t know if I want to watch Orna flail about trying to correct antisocial sadism.

Like with Ping or Michal, they were abrasive but you saw the love peeking out behind the initial resentment. I’m not seeing that here so far, and it makes for a really painful viewing experience.

The intensity of awfulness seems to be ramping up. Is it all in my head because it’s a new batch of couples or has the casting changed?

So I’m going to preface this by saying that I know very little about computers. I’m making this post because I want to know what just happened with my laptop, and if I should be taking any further action.

So I forgot to power it off and the battery died (oops). When I plugged it in and booted it up, I was kicked into the BIOS EZ Boot menu, and powering down or selecting optimized boot settings just kept bringing me back there. I troubleshooted. Compared to a lot of others, mine listed the storage device and had windows in the boot priority list. Those are apparently very good things. (I also don’t have a picture. Sorry😬 I didn’t expect to fix things, so I thought I’d have more time to take one) but essentially it seemed like there wasn’t any serious issue—besides it not booting.

All I did was disable secure boot because someone said to try that. This sent me to a page where I had to put in my bitlocker recovery key from my Microsoft account. Now everything seems fine and the laptop boots normally.

My questions are: should I be worried about secure boot now being disabled? And is this a sign that the laptop is about to bite the dust? As in: should I be making any hardware repairs/replacements?

Thanks in advance. I don’t live in a country with easy access to people who would know about these things, so that’s why I’m trying here. Hopefully this is the right place for that.

(EDIT: this only affects Siris during combat. It registers correctly during finishing combos. Isa has no issues…)

I sideloaded IB3 onto my iPhone yesterday and I noticed that some weapon specific combos almost never trigger no matter how careful I swipe. Now that it’s happened enough, I’ve figured out that the commonality among the combos that consistently fail is upward swipes… maybe they’re being read as diagonal?

I tried shrinking the block button, thinking that’s blocking part of the screen needed for the input. Still didn’t change.

Has anyone had this issue or does anyone know how the game reads the inputs? Maybe it’s something else, and I’ve drawn the wrong conclusion. Thanks.

EDIT: (adding this in case anyone else has the same issue in the future.) Further experimentation has led to the conclusion that the orientation of upward strikes with Siris is dependent on the camera angle. Often a swipe from 7 o’clock to 1 o’clock or 5o’clock to 11 o’clock registers as vertical. Because the camera angle can get really creative during the finishing bonus, camera perspective stops playing a role after the titan is defeated. That would explain why my finishing combos always work. I can’t for the life of me figure out why only this one direction seems to be affected and only Siris, but it’s very consistent.
