When [[Y'shtola, Night's Blessed]] was spoiled a while ago I had an idea regarding her theme: Life Gain and Life Loss matter with an enchantress theme.

I am trying to brew a bracket 3 or 4 deck.

I think I found some place for some neat underrated enchantments like [[Soul Barrier]] and [[Tidal Control]] that actually help the deck to function.

I already looked at aura enchantments that synergize with the Commander like [[Sigil of Sleep]] and [[Curiosity]] but I am having some trouble with the deck building and with the wincons.

Do you think that my idea is valid or is not ideal?

Could you please share some suggestions and maybe some decklists? Every form of help is highly appreciated. Thanks 🙏🏻✨.

Next session I will have a new player added into my campaign.

Basically he Is a "cursed Threadborn" I reflavoured his appearence at my friend's request to fit his theme: a scary looking doll that speaks inside other creatures heads and Is able to move between Shadows.

He was an Edwardian Physician that was killed by an entity in a hut in the woods: he was broken, stiched and compressed into a doll while he was still alive ( pretty creepy). He doesn't remember much...even his name are the last words his executioner said to him ( Doctor Goodnight).

Moving on...he laid motionless for a decade and his soul was cast in limbo...but an entity decided to save him and grant him a new life.. because he was the only one that answered his dying call.

He Is tasked by this entity to live a new life, to indulge, to sin...but he promised him eternal happiness if he sticker around the "Lady gifted with the Sight which pierces the mists."

In reality, this entity Is the Horned King that manipulated the PG to do his bidding and to make sure Adela Is sacrificed...this doll is the new vessel of the Crooked Man if the prophecy doesn't take place.

Right now I am having a little bit of trouble with his backstory regarding the entity that killed him...the description that my friend gave me ( emerged from the shadows, elongated, with clawed hands) fits the Tall Man soooo good.

I thought that maybe his Queen contacted him and he did that job as an act of service.

But now I have a lot of questions that I really don't know how to answer to:

The thing Is....what would the creature do after that?

Does he fit as the "main villain" of this charachter story?

What is his gain in creating such a thing? 

Would a dollmaker kind of charachter fit the Fey entity? How so?

The charachters will travel the plane to deal with Mother Midnight daughters...do you think that It would be possible that this entity would cohoperate with Sister Silhouette ( I thought that It would be cool since they both deal with shadows)

Could you please help me?

If you have any tips or suggestions related to the story, the Tall Man involvement and everything else , I would gladly hear them.

Soon my players will have an encounter with the Lord of Enoch himself...but he won't introduce himself as that. He will introduce himself as a travelling musician.

They will meet him in Foxwillow and he will help in dealing with the curse unleashed by Jonah.

He will be there to grieve the loss of his friend Jericho and will dedicate him a song. Additionally he will grasp some green magic to infuse the soul with it to help the population.

I am having trouble with inspiration and sources to define the charachter. I wanted to find a an artist and/or guitarist that fits his vibe.

Could you please help me?
