Unexpected catch and cook

I was pike fishing when I caught a perch and unfortunately one of the hooks were caught in it's eye, so I decided to keep this 31cm beauty.

How do I find the perch

I've been trying to get a few perch from a big canal near me, but I've only managed to catch one perch a day on good days, usually nothing. How do I find them and what lures do I use?

Hello there,

Im pretty new to trout fishing (I've only gone once before), and I'm wondering how do I catch a lot of trout?

Im going to a privately stocked pond where they stock the fish twice a day. On Saturday (when I'm going) they will be stocking 5 trout and 5 rainbow trout per person. You aren't allowed to move from your spot that you chose at the beginning of the day. I know I need to pick the spot next to the big fountain because there is more oxygen there, further I don't really know what I need to do. I was think about 2 bottom rigs with powerbait or worms that I will put in the rod stands and cast towards the fountain. On my 3rd rod (UL) I will be using wobblers/spinners/spoons or a nymph with a .5g-1g split shot attached. Is my strategy solid or do I need to change anything?
