First attempt at breeding my group starts today
Hello, first time fermenting and hoping for some clarification. I’m using the ratio of 2lbs/1kg of wood pellets to 100g of flour and I’m curious if that is 2lbs of dry pellets or expanded?
Second question is another about flour, I have a sourdough culture and buy bread flour in bulk and usually runs around 12-13% protein. Has anyone ever used bread flour in their flake soil? Or does higher protein leads to higher chances of rotting?
Thank you in advance for your time and insights!
I’ve seen several people with captive hatched offspring recently. If you have some extra please let me know.
Also interested in other Scolopendra sp. I don’t already have of course.
I’ve been after these for a bit now and finally added a few to the collection. Scolopendra sp. ‘Buton black’

Curious if anyone in the private sector has had luck keeping larger growing pill millipedes long term in captivity. Im aware they can be difficult in general, specific and detail oriented husbandry doesn’t scare me. Just not wanting to buy something that eats a specific kind of slime mold, only found in deep Bornean rainforests. No one wants to watch beautiful creatures slowly starve.
