I create wooden sculptural pieces (each takes 3-6 months of full-time work). I was selected for a juried outdoor festival and a 2-month museum show—but both times it was the same piece. It didn’t even get much attention in person, which makes me wonder if I just got lucky once.

Looking for honest feedback:

**1.	Gallery-worthy?** Does this read as serious art to you, or amateur craft?  
**2.	Pricing:** How do you price work when labor is huge but material is cheap? Does the craft stick medium tank the value?  
**3.	What works and what doesn’t?**

Not looking to get rich, just want to price fairly and know if this is heading somewhere real.

While, I would love to sell something, I am more interested in sharing my art with others in hopes of inspiring others.

I use craft sticks primarily as my medium. I am currently working on a piece about failure after finishing a lamp about how we all affect each other and what remains.

I would love any suggestions about how to best share my art.

The first two pictures are of my current piece in progress. The next ones are of other works, I have done.

90” tall, 27½” wide and deep, ~100 lbs — all craft sticks, resin, and a lot of stubbornness. No blueprints. I boiled sticks to bend them, laminated them into panels, and poured resin embedded with stick shavings for the glowing outer sections.

Structurally it’s a raw, imperfect inner column wrapped in more refined outer layers — lit from within so you can see both at once. Took over 600 hours.

Named it Vessel. Built to hold light the way a life holds everything that shaped it — every voice, every bruise, every kindness.
