This might one of the worst apps after paramount+. It literally never works correctly. I constantly have to reset the app in windows settings everytime I wanna use it. After using it, closing it (ending task in task manager aswell just for the gaming hub) and opening it again it doesnt work yet again, in an endless loop of having to reset it and all the settings everytime I wanna use it. It always freezes after it highlights that stupid Omen AI beta feature.

Im sick of this. A brand new $1,100 ($1,200 after tax) laptop and it has issues within the first two weeks. My usb-c dac/amps are cutting out after switching graphics profiles. The graphics profiles aswell have a malfunction too, they get stuck on one profile even after you switch and restart pc it reverts to the same one. Have to constantly reset gaming hub to fix it but then the gaming hub always crashes when reopening it, in an endless loop of the same shit smh.

Everything was working fine until last night when I switched from discrete to hybrid and then back to discrete and now the Shanling UA mini dac/amp cuts out while listening to anything in media players like vlc wmp, but it works fine on brave browser media players. It malfunctions with a usb-a adapter and on the usb-c port.

I tried to solve it using gemini but everything I tried just couldnt fix it. I have the apple dongle too and it works without issues. If anyone knows anything let me know.

EDIT: After a bunch of different methods trying to fix it, it somehow locked my profile into balanced+hybrid. Even after manually switching to performance+discrete and restarting laptop it would just revert back to balanced+hybrid.

Gemini said to go into settings/apps/installed apps/omen gaming hub/three dots/advanced options/terminate/reset (this resets the app/settings). I then also enabled services bits (background intelligent transfer service), set it to automatic, restart the service. And also the sysmain service, same method, just to be safe. Then I restarted laptop and opened omen gaming hub and set it to performance+discrete and restarted latop. This fixed the graphics profile to performance+discrete and it also fixed the dac/amp issue aswell. I then put the bits service to stop/manual, and sysmain to stop/disabled.

Im on brave with aggressive adblock setting and ublock origin at the same time and everytime I click a video theres always a delay sometimes maybe like 20 seconds long. This makes me think youtube is still playing the ad behind the adblock and making us wait through the auto skip ad.

Just my theory.

Just got this laptop a couple of days ago and Idk why but the way the colors look is off. It kinda hurts my eyes. Like the colors are too bright and dark at the same time but brightness is somehow really strong, its just off compared to my old HP laptop. I tried different settings but I just cant get it to look normal, it has like a washed yellowish look to me, like a cloudy rainy day type of vibe.

Anyone got any color settings I can try to make it look normal, like anything close to how colors on a phone look.

EDIT: My last laptop was 250 nits and I had it on 90% brightness. I asked gemini what would be the same in my new omen and it said it should be about 56%. So Im just setting the Omen now on 60% brightness (maybe 70% sometimes for a little more brightness), and it looks much better to me now. I was using the Omen on 90-80% and thats why It was looking off to me, I guess I was just used to the 250 nits laptop at 90% brightness for years that using the new much brighter omen was much different.
