Before you change your system clock to catch up on Emerald Rush events-

Don’t forget that save files in games like Dreamlight Valley can be broken permanently/very long term as punishment for “time traveling”

Animal Crossing, Tomodachi Life, and Pokemon SS/SV also have minor consequences worth considering beforehand. DLV is definitely the most punishing of the bunch though, and I know that game has a decently-sized following!

Return/Re-ring at Target?

I went to my local Target the other day in hopes of snagging some of the Amiibo deals I’ve been seeing, but they were sold out of all the Kirby Air Riders Amiibo (I know I’m a little late to the party). They had Mario Galaxy and Wonder Amiibo, but according to a staff that scanned them with their Sapphire, they were still full price.

They’re available for shipping online, so I was contemplating ordering them, returning them at the store and then (fingers crossed) re-purchasing them at the discounted price. Has anybody tried this or have any knowledge as to whether or not it would work? I’ve heard these sales may be location-specific too, so would the Mario Amiibo being full price be indicative of a lack of sale on Kirby as well?

What game(s) would you like to see on NSO that you don’t see many people talking about?

You generally hear about people wanting games like Diddy Kong Racing, Conker’s Bad Fur Day, or Eternal Darkness (all of which I hope to see in the near future) But what games DON’T you hear people talking about that you’d love to see?

Especially if it’s one that has a decent chance of getting in. We can all have our dreams, but sometimes we have to curb our expectations.

Here are some of mine!

NES: Legendary Wings, King’s Knight, and Yoshi’s Cookie (less likely, I know)

SNES: Twisted Tales of Spike McFang

N64: Tetrisphere, Mystical Ninja, Chameleon Twist, Mischief Makers, Snowboard Kids (I know a couple of these are iffy, and also go into more-talked-about terf, but with Goemon being a smash costume, I can realistically dream I think?)

GameCube: Ribbit King

Gameboy: Mario Bros Deluxe (that 2-player vs. mode would need to be intact though)

Gameboy Advance: DK King of Swing

What games would you like to see that you don’t think have enough hype backing them?

I tried to comb through Lorien Testard’s socials to find any updates on this and can’t find anything more recent than about 10 months ago. I wondered if they might do something for the 1 year anniversary of the game’s release, but that has since come and gone.

Of course being busy is no joke, but what do you think this project could realistically be to have taken so long? Has anyone heard any updates?
