This guy uses public info to try to scam people

This schmuck pretends to be the police and texts people with recent arrest records to try to scam them out of money. If they don’t respond to the first text he tells them they’ll get 30 days in jail if they don’t respond. I verified with the sheriff he is not a cop. Then I called the number to verify I would get an answer from the same person that sent the texts. Dumb bastard actually answered. I suppose it’s possible it was a burner number but prank calls to “Sergeant Knowles” would be wonderful. ‪His number is ‪1 (239) 610-5691‬

Scammer pretending to be police

Someone close to me was arrested a few days back for a dui. First offense. Never even had a speeding ticket. Hasn’t been drinking recently and possibly lost some tolerance. Either way she’s scared now and dealing with a bunch of other shit on top of it. Scammers have been coming out of the woodwork using public records to try to convince her and others they are police and even threatening her with jail time if she doesn’t reply or send money. Well this morning while she was at her mother’s interment this dip shit actually used his own number to give it a shot. I know it’s his number because I called and he actually answered. I also confirmed with local police that he is not an actual cop. Maybe some of y’all have had similar experiences. Maybe you’d like a bit of revenge on people who try to exploit folks in a vulnerable position. If that seems up your alley give him a call. His number is ‪1 (239) 610-5691‬. Make this shit stain regret owning a phone.

A question about stairs

I am a stair builder. My whole career stair treads and risers have always been pretty much the same. Treads have over hung the riser with a 1” to 1-1/4” nosing and some form of trim under the nose to hide any gaps and allow for some movement. The new trend in the high end homes in my area seams to be treads and risers that come together with no nose. I come to y’all for advice. Mitered treads and risers obviously move and open up at the joint. I’ve had similar problems with lock miters. I imagine a rabbet in there tread set over the riser will eventually face a similar issue. What is the most stable and appropriate way to connect the treads and risers to prevent joint breakage? Is this even possible on something that moves and flexes as much as stairs do or will these designs always be a problem?

App interrupting music

Does anyone else have an issue with their driver app messing up their music when they interact with the app? Mine loses the bass when I accept a ride or pick someone up. I can exit CarPlay and play through Bluetooth and it goes back to normal but CarPlay remains a problem until I reset the infotainment system.
