Drop from 80th percentile to 28th

Hi everyone, i went in for my 27th week growth scan today and baby’s weight was in the 28th percentile. I’m trying not to freak out because at our last growth scan at 23 weeks he was in the 80th percentile. I’m worried that we’ll continue to see a drop or that this indicates to an issue with him receiving nutrients from me. We did speak with the maternal fetal medicine doctor, and he wasn’t concerned. He said our next scan at 32 weeks will tell us more. Has anyone experienced anything similar?

I have been at my current company for 6 years and in my current role for 1 year. In my previous role I had complete control of my calendar and would come in at 7 and leave at 3:30. Over the last 3 months I’ve started receiving more and more meeting requests for meeting from 4-5. I know have a standing 4-4:30 once a week. Today I had a last minute 4-5 meeting added to my calendar. I came home in the middle of the day because I have something going on after work and didn’t want to get stuck in rush hour traffic. Well, at 5:10 the meeting was still going strong so I interrupted and said I needed to go. At 5:55 I logged on to slack and saw that my manager and coworker were still online, meaning they were still in the meeting. I am so frustrated and in tears at the complete disregard for our personal lives. I’m currently 6 months pregnant and I’m so worried about these expectations continuing. My manager has been very understand this far, but I have not brought this up to her. I’m at the point where I am considering going back to my old team or just not returning after maternity leave. Has anyone dealt with a similar situation?

I have been at my current company for 6 years and in my current role for a year. In my previous role at this company I had complete control over my calendar and managed to leave by 3:30 every day. In my current role I’m frequently being invited to meetings from 4-5. I’ve noticed that a lot of people stroll in at 9 am whereas I come in at 7. As soon as I started receiving invites for 3:30-4 I knew it would be a slippery slope. I even blocked my calendar from 3:30-5 to prevent people from booking meetings with me. Today I had a last minute meeting added for 4-5. I have something going on after work so I came home to take it to save the drive time during rush hour. At 5:10 the meeting was still going strong and I interrupted and said I needed to go. This meeting was with my coworker, my manager, and her manager (the VP of our department). I’m so angry and at the complete disregard for our personal lives. I’m currently 6 months pregnant and concerned about what this culture will mean for when the baby is here. I haven’t really brought it up to my manager but I’m at the point that I’m considering applying for other internal roles or just not returning after my maternity leave. If you’ve made it this far, thanks for reading.

Editing to add: it’s 5:40 and the call is still going. I can see that my manager and coworker are still online.
