I posted my rainbow wedding dress I made for my Iceland wedding, but I finally have pics of my wedding dress I put together for our NYC legal ceremony. I made it out of 2 macduggal dresses, I cut up the second one to make the capelet. Then I embroidered green jewel beetle wings onto the dress!

We did a tiny legal ceremony, then took pics around the city. This was our final stop

What do we think this lil guy is? There are sheep and horses around on this land so that’s my main guess. But this was found on the top of an ocean cliff amongst a bunch of shells and crabs seagulls have broken open, so it could potentially be something else as well. There are also arctic foxes and seals around. Thoughts?

This dress is Tarik Ediz 98083! It was perfect for my cave reception in Iceland. I made my little velvet capelet because it’s a bit cold in there obviously.

I got married on Wednesday, and I made my dress!

I had a very specific vision for this gal, and it took an insane amount of work, but I am so happy with how it turned out! I draped it all by hand without a pattern, and dyed a ton of synthetic tulle to blend between the colors I started with. It ended up being 8 different colors total. I bought this fabulous lame chiffon as a base so the dress shimmered as it moved.

I also made the flower crown and veil!

I did not speed this up, they were just slapping at supersonic speed 😂
