Wiping down equipment AFTER use is stupid. This only ensures that it's clean for the next person using it...but the next person doesn't know if you wiped it down or not (unless they saw you). Which means you should wipe it before AND after use. Or if you're smart, just wipe it BEFORE you use it. This way you guarantee the machine is clean for you. When you clean it after you guaranteed it's clean for everyone else. Makes no sense.

Also if it's busy by the time you walk over to the cleaning solution someone is already on the machine or walking towards it making for an awkward encounter (uhh are you done with this?)

Today some kids (must have been 13 from their faces) came in, tried some equipment, then found their way to the black card spa area and just sat on the couches texting/playing on their phone.

The program isn't meant to be a like dropping your kids at the mall, the library, or a free baby sitting service.

It also doesn't give you access to the spa area. But they went through the door and just sat there.

If they insist on continuing this program they need clear rules, one of them should be that you need a parent/guardian with you. I've never seen such a stupid program where children (under 18) can just roam free at any business.

Last time I went in the PF 360 area with all the machines was taped off with yellow tape like someone was murdered there. Hopefully they get rid of it and remodel that whole area. It's probably the most crowded PF location in the area because it's so small.

Planet fitness needs a complete overhaul as far as the locations go. It's time to rethink which equipment is important and which isn't and come up with a new layout that fits in with how people want to workout in 2026.

Since the 30 minute circuit area is just used as a free for all by everyone but me I think it's time to get rid of the stupid stoplights and just integrate that space and those machines into the rest of the gym. The gym is already so short of weight machines that many locations desperately need that space and those machines. In addition to that:

1. Squat racks

2. Free motion cable cross machine

3. Dedicated stretch and sled pull area
