Woman with infant aggressively shushing passerby’s on hiking trail at national park

My partner, friend and I were following a hiking trail at Red Wood National Park, singing and talking at medium volume. We were by no means shouting, just singing little songs to entertain each other along the trail. A woman with a baby carrier on her back with a sleeping infant started aggressively holding her finger up to her lips and shushing us. We went quiet and kept moving to pass her. She was just standing in the middle of the public trail pacing and shushing people that pass by rather than leaving to somewhere more quiet. Just as we were leaving earshot I tried to quietly ask my partner a question about where we headed and again she leaned in our direction with her finger to her mouth aggressively shushing us. Is it not kind of insane to go to an open public space and behave like this?!?

This is how Kristoff and Tribble settle in almost every night

They purposefully loaf as close as they can manage between the walls of his pen so they can be near one another. And people still on occasion ask if they can get along. Lol, just look at them 🥰

Sometimes I worry about whether I am everything he wanted when I adopted him

And then he does this and I know he doesn’t regret choosing me at all

My friend loves to use contextless bullshit to feel like the center of attention

I have a friend who is always pulling the most random unheard of references and tidbits out of his ass when absolutely no one asked and leaving them hanging until I feel forced to ask him what he’s talking about. At which point he’ll go on a completely unwanted and unnecessarily rant with lots of hemming and ha-ing and throat clearing like some arrogant professor type all over a subject he initially inserted into an irrelevant discourse. I find this tactic super annoying and I’ve stated before that he should include the context of whatever he’s talking about as needed when bringing random unknown things up to others rather than waiting for someone to ask so he can be the center of attention.

The thing is if he just slipped these details in where needed it wouldn’t interrupt the flow of conversation and derail into one of his insufferable long winded lectures but as is, he uses the question as a sort of “in” to go on and on about the most obscure things completely irrelevant to whatever else is going on. To make it even worse he has a slow sleepy mannerism of speaking that is profoundly dull and cannot hold anyone attention most of the time and involves a lot of ums and uhs. It’s just so goddamn annoying.
