Which walnut standing desk?

Hi,

I’m looking to buy a standing desk with a walnut desktop. Shipping costs for the Vernal are huge if you aren't in Germany, the UK, or the US; Herman Miller is prohibitively expensive; and what about Flexispot? It’s the most affordable option, but strangely enough, I can't find any real photos of their desktop. They’ve released a solid walnut version, but I can't find any user taken photos of it does anyone have any pics of this ? Thanks.

Need help with my living room layout

Hello,

(If there are a few tiny differences between the images, that’s normal; I used AI to remove the knick knacks that were lying on the floor.)

I moved into this 47 m² apartment (the living room shown is 555 × 349 cm, or approx. 19.4 m²) a few months ago, but I haven't bought anything yet; I just have a mattress on the floor and kitchen appliances.

I’m facing a bit of a dilemma: I want a TV/sofa area and a PC area with a standing desk in the living room. Logically, the layout should be simple, but there’s a gas radiator that I can't place anything in front of, so that section of the wall has to stay clear. Further along that same wall, there’s a recessed nook; if I put the sofa there to face the opposite wall, the thermostat (marked in yellow in the photo) prevents me from placing the TV on it properly, and the TV wouldn't be directly opposite the sofa anyway. If I put the sofa where the thermostat is and the TV in the nook, only a small part of the sofa would actually face the TV, and I couldn't put the PC next to the sofa because it would block the window from opening. So, what’s the best approach?

Should I put the TV on the wall facing the window, the sofa in the nook (facing the wall opposite the window), and the PC setup against the wall opposite the radiator?

Is Grok censored RN ?

I use Grok mainly because it isn't censored and doesn't spend its time "scolding" me about what I say, the way ChatGPT or other AIs do; Grok is 100% uncensored and unrestricted. However, starting today, I'm getting responses that are just like ChatGPT ""No, I'm not going to talk about that, blah, blah, blah." did something happen involving the European Union regarding this? It has literally turned into ChatGPT overnight or maybe it happened earlier, since I haven't used it in a month.

De'Longhi - Magnifica evo - ECAM290.22.B, nice Advices

Hello, 3 months ago I bought a bean to cup machine for the first time. The problem is that I’ve tried various beans (Lavazza, Kimbo, etc.) and different settings grind levels of 3 or 4, bean intensity at 2 or 3 but the taste is either bitter or too strong or too light. Which beans or settings should I use to get as close as possible to the taste I used to love: Nespresso Arpeggio?

Is Japandi the only way?

Hello,

Here is my apartment; I moved in a few months ago and plan to furnish and decorate it. The thing is, I really don't have the time/money to repaint the whole place or the budget to hire someone to do it and I can't afford to replace the flooring either. So, I have to work with the current setup: white walls and the existing wood flooring. Given that, I feel like the "Japandi" style or at least a blend of it would suit the space well; something minimalist with warm tones, like wood, black, and yellow. The other photo showing with the sofa and stuff is an AI generated image just to give an idea . What do you think? (It looks like the wall was repainted in the AI version, so I’m not sure if the actual result would look the same...)

How should I arrange my living room?

Hello,

I just moved in, so everything is empty, and please ignore the cheap-looking desk; it's temporary. I plan to put my PC setup and a TV stand, sofa, and coffee table area in this living room, but I don't know where I should put them. Any ideas? Thanks.

Also, I'd like to know if leaving the walls white and just putting up wooden acoustic panels behind my PC setup and TV stand would be okay?
