THIS

I don't get why that when a woman becomes successful, people say that she had to sell her soul but not when a man gets successful?

Edit: I am not defending any billionaire here, Pls instead of the names in the image, pls read it as "Misogyny is believing successful women had to sell their soul for success but successful men just worked hard for theirs".

My GAYPHOBIC LESBIAN friend blocked me after I came out to her! T_T

My friend came out to me as lesbian about a month ago. She was my friend for about a year btw. I thought she will be supportive cause she is from the community so I came out to her but she called me names, said she doesn't like "sissy" and "girly" males and blocked me 😭 turns out she is gayphobic (the irony). She used to make fun of gays (not in a bad way) and I thought she was just joking but she was not 😭💔 I don't know why but its sad but at the same time funny too lol 😭

WE WON! (UPDATE ON GROOMING SESSION CONDUCTED AT DPS RUBY PARK)

For context please look at these posts:

The recent counselling/grooming session conducted exclusively for female students at Delhi Public School in India, during which several statements and themes promoted harmful gender stereotypes, reinforced victim-blaming narratives, and placed an unfair burden on girls for the behavior and actions of boys.

Following the attention on the matter and an open letter, the school administration responded immediately and addressed the concerns raised by students. The school showed the original script prepared for the counselling session, and the specific victim-blaming statements many students were concerned about were not part of the official material provided.

The school has acknowledged the concerns and committed to taking corrective action. This includes conducting a counselling session for boys, arranging further discussion with the teachers involved in the original girls’ session, and revising future counselling sessions moving forward.

While many students had hoped for a formal apology, we believe it is important to recognize that our concerns were heard and that concrete steps toward change are being taken.

While many students had hoped for a formal apology, we believe it is important to recognize that our concerns were heard and that concrete steps toward change are being taken. At this stage, we believe the most constructive path forward is to wait for the next girls’ counselling session and evaluate whether these promised improvements are meaningfully reflected in practice.

For now, we consider this an important first step and we remain hopeful, attentive, and committed to ensuring future conversations around student wellbeing are fair, respectful, and equitable for all.

THANK YOU EVERYBODY FOR YOUR SUPPORT! MAY EVERY WOMEN GET EQUALITY!!

CJP's spokeperson Vijeta Dahiya defends his transphobia

Source

Calling basic human rights as "narrative" and rich people's "circus" is so shameful. This person is constantly defending his transphobic views. Not to mention, CJP has also maintained total silence on trans rights and the trans bill. If CJP claims being youth led movement, it needs to be queer and trans inclusive too. To the people who are going to defend them, don't make them a hero. You can support their good and still question and challenge their wrongs.

Edit: Sorry for the poor image qualities, the snipping tool on this laptop is sh*t.

Why are boys not taught about menstruation in schools?

This has always been on my mind that why do boys are not taught about menstruation? In my school, there were separate seminars for girls to teach them about menstruation and MHM but none for boys. Wouldn't it be more beneficial to teach boys about it too? The boys in my school knew next to nothing about menstruation and the info they knew were based on the social stigmas and taboos that they were taught by either family members or older boys. They used to think girls are "impure" and they should not go near them. I think by teaching both boys and girls about menstruation and MHM can make school a more inclusive space for girls and they can feel more confident in being able to manage their periods and talk about it. Also, the boys can encourage and support their female friends instead of mocking them. What are your thoughts on this?

P.S. I am sorry for using gendered terms "girls" and "boys" for those who menstruate and those who not.I am fully aware that menstruation is experienced by other individuals too.
