Is he talking about interscope or opium??
I was wondering why Carti has gone silent and hasn’t said anything about Ken’s new album but remembered Ken said this. maybe i’m reading into it too much and it’s nothing major but idk

The baby voice was hated in the moment (hence why he changed his sound for the official release of WLR) I’ve posted tweets in here about people complaining about the voice in 2019/20 but nowadays it’s seen as his best and most unique era. Hell, the biggest rapper in the underground right now is 1:1 copying the sound currently
We already know about WLR. There’s literally a term “WLR effect” about albums being more understood as time goes on. The album was insanely hated on when it dropped and now it’s one of the most influential albums of the decade.
Now we have the deep voice era. The consensus is that carti isn’t trying anymore and is a knock off Future and that his previous eras are better. But artists like Che (whose most recent album is heavily influenced by WLR) have recent EPs with the deep voice that have received a lot of praise.
So do yall think this era will be seen in a more positive light as time goes on (like his other eras) or do yall think it’s different this time. If you believe it’s different why do you think so? Personally I believe this is his worst era but am open to letting it grow on me
I wonder when the exact moment was when he chose to pivot because i truly believe he was going for something experimental. Just a theory but maybe the success of songs like carnival type shit and timeless made him think simpler songs would be the way.
This mysterious shit can only last so long. Even Carti was tapped in with Kai Cenat last year lmao. If he doesn’t lock in with this album he will absolutely get outsold by underground projects like Nocturnal and Sedition and enter the Sofaygo realm of Whatifism
but what yall think
I was seeing how Carti broke so many records with his album last year and wondered if anyone in this current scene can ever reach that level and I think Che can due to how much influence and variety he has in his music already.
If you don’t think so do yall think he’s capable of at least reaching Yeat/Ken levels?
ngl u can still say che or nett i just feel like that’s 2 obvious spots for most of yall but im curious
so a ken fan on twitter who ken talks to said ken tryna take back over the rage shit and I think that’s not a good direction to take at all because like wouldn’t that have been More Chaos??
I wanna know what yall think tho maybe i’m tripping
it’s the osama sub so you guys will probably dickeat but this is getting so bad man. of everything he’s took from carti he at least made his own music but now even that’s gone 😭😭
his own creative director came out and said he was trying to recreate the v2 era, off that mv looks and sounds like @meh, the nxo story copying the uzi carti story
like he’s always took here and there but it’s genuinely been overkill recently
what do yall think maybe im tripping. i know people will say they’re tired of hearing this or it doesn’t matter to them but do you expect to not see any discourse when a rising star is biting from one of the biggest rappers in the world from a era that happened less than a decade ago?
the same v2 that everyone loves so much was getting the EXACT same type of complaints that the deep voice is now getting
do you think it’s a coincidence or does he really need to drop the deep voice
Kinda crazy how he spent his whole career world building just to abandon everything that made him unique. I’d wonder what the driving force behind that was but he basically admitted why he’d do what he ended up doing which is money.
The comments seem to mainly say that ken/opium sees him as a threat and that they’re glad he didn’t cus osamason doesn’t need him
What do yall think?? i know this is the ken sub but i wanna hear different opinions and reasonings
what would you say?
Will we see similar energy shown towards him as the other members bfs or no???
I was wondering this because that’s essentially what i thought MUSIC was but it seems like he’s taking it even further doing songs with Fatt Smaxk L5 Lil Baby etc
So do yall think Baby Boi will be him diving even further into his ATL roots or do yall think he’s still in the MUSIC era and the Baby Boi era will be something else
The “he’s gonna fall off” talks is a twitter only narrative because while i do agree the music quality is falling, he’s as popular now than ever and unfortunately that’s probably all that matters to him
If we have established that Playboi Carti is not a good person why are people happy that Manon is associating herself with some of cartis closest friends??
He only follows 59 people on instagram and David and Ojivolta are 2 of them. Ojivoltas profile pic is also Cartis album from last year and is on stage with him almost every show as his guitarist.
Im not really tapped in to katseye like that but can someone explain why these type of things get celebrated for manon if Daniela just went through a huge hate train for the same man?
I know as fans all that should matter is the music but it’s kinda disheartening to see people like Nine Vicious and Nettspend begin to have more motion than lone even though Lone has been rapping longer and makes objectively better music. Even Ken has become a arena artist and just headlined rolling loud (plus had a #1 album)
I feel like being a fan of an artist is wanting to see them succeed and since ILCK that hasn’t really been the case for lone.
So do we kinda just accept that his run of continuously growing is over and hope he keeps making good music or is there still hope
ngl i’m really talkin about osamason fans but i’ve seen che fans talk crazy too but it’s kinda crazy to see fans of these guys hate on the guy that literally gave they fav the sauce they blew up with ( they aren’t clones im talking about the distorted rage sound from agc) (he really started it with x but not the point)
it’s one thing to not like or care for his music but they’ll straight up say he’s trash and it confuses me
do y’all think he push it too far wit the carti homage or do yall think that it’s not as bad as ppl make it seem or are u in the “ik he bites a lot but i don’t really care” lane
