WHY is the Monrovia station bathroom never open except on concert days?

Monrovia is one of the few stations to have an actual bathroom instead of a throne. It’s a bit of a walk from the platform, but that’s not the problem. The problem is, why is it locked on normal days? If it weren’t for my brother, I wouldn’t have known about a porta potty near the parking lot.

The northbound side of Chinatown station didn’t update the sign. It still says Azusa

7th Street/Metro Center is so poorly designed

It’s not as bad now, but pre-regional connector, it was not well designed. The station has “outer” platforms, where there are two platforms for both directions. The issue? Before the regional connector was open, that was the end of the blue and expo lines. Unless you knew in advance which platform your train was on, you would have to prey that it gets on the right one.
