Yoga works!

I was changing my kitchen faucet and yoga helped so much. At one point, I had to hold the faucet above the sink with my left hand and, while in a chair sit pose, turn the nut below the sink at the same time with my right hand. I had to hold the pose for a rather long time. It was exciting to see real life results after weeks of yoga practice!

Bad dreams

I go about my day as I usually do and force/coax myself to spend some time working through this high conflict divorce at night. It was an abusive relationship.

The thing is I keep having bad dreams. Whatever feels that I get and let go of in the day comes back in my dreams as prime time drama. Lots of complicated feelings keep bubbling up in my dreams. I never felt so sad and so hurt as I did in my dreams. It made me feel sorry for myself.

I was happy like a bird during a solo vacation when I didn't have to think about this at all. Can anyone relate?

Nightowler thoughts

Being a nightowler feels like existing between the frame of yesterday's time and tomorrow's time. Like time stood still. No wonder I am happy at night.

You all got to watch Perfect Days

Only 5 mins in and it got me so excited. Main character loves plants and the scenes brought me such joy as a plant lover.

Its a highly rated movie about a Japanese toilet cleaner finding beauty in the world through unexpected encounters.

Why do woman become Christians willingly?

It is clear to me that women are 2nd class citizens in the Bible so why do so many women join? Some are even super religious and want to spread the religion to others? I never understood this.

  • Great discussion everybody! Thanks for taking the time to explain so thoroughly. Please keep them coming. This question has been bugging me for the longest time.

So my abusive narcissistic ex became a christian

We have an lgbt child together and we are in the middle of a contentious divorce. He is a narcissist who screams at me when I am ill and never took accountability for his actions. He is also a hypocrite. So what can I expect with his new Christian faith. I am worried about the effect on our child. Maybe he will use hurtful Bible verses or the like to them. I would like to have an idea of what to expect and how to handle this or what can my child say. Thank you.
