Concert culture is dead…

Went to a sold out concert tonight ($500 a ticket)- Noah Kahan. I knew this would be a younger crowd but holy shit… yall, I felt like I was in another dimension. No one was dancing, seemed like no one was enjoying themselves. No bar line whatsoever. All I saw when I looked around was cellphones in the air, just recording. It was literally depressing… is this the new normal?!

Excellence PM vs Atelier? Couples and singles in their 40s…

Looking at these two for options next September 2027. May just be two couples but also have some friends that might join. We would like some nighttime activities- doesn’t have to be crazy but don’t want a sleepy resort that goes dark at 8pm every night. Thoughts?

Would you rather… Disney/Universal OR Star of the Seas cruise?

I know I’m going to get a biased answer from this group, but also going to cross post… two kids 7 and 10. We have had a trip planned for this October for over a year now- planned 4 days at WDW and 2 days Universal.
Of course, now my 7 yo has decided he doesn’t want to go as he’s scared of the rides. He is neurodivergent and gets very anxious about new experiences. We originally planned this whole trip around Nintendo World at Epic Universe and now he’s subsequently decided he doesn’t like Mario anymore 🫠

Alternatively, we could do a 7 night cruise on RCL Star of the Seas for about the same price all in, if not 2-3k less than the Disney/Universal trip.

Can’t decide which would be better… we’ve done all inclusives and cruises before… my kids need a ton of activity to keep them from getting bored (and to keep me from jumping overboard 😆) I personally want to do WDW but I also don’t want to guarantee ourselves a bad time if my 7 yo decides he hates everything.

Medical marijuana prescribing?

Anyone here prescribe medical marijuana cards as a side gig? I live in a state that just passed medical marijuana. I currently have a full time gig, but wondering if it’s financially worth it to do this on the side.

Beaches Negril vs Grand Princess Jamaica?

Planning on a trip next June- two families with 4 kids total ages 7-10. Has anyone been to both Beaches Negril and Grand Princess and can offer recommendations for one over the other?

How many new patients a day is the sweet spot?

NP new to this particular practice since Oct 2025, working 4 days/week (32 hours).
I’ve been seeing 4 new patients a day since then. Currently my panel is sitting at 494 patients.

I go to straight RVU productivity this July 1. I’ve decided to reduce my new patients to 2/day at that point due to the new patient no shows, I figure for every new patient slot I could fill (40 mins), I can see two established patients (20 mins).

I also see a lot of my colleagues overflow which usually helps to fill my schedule.

Is dropping to new patients a day a good plan or should I keep it at 4 until my panel becomes fuller?

Girls Trip 2027-where to stay?

Casually looking at PR for a girls trip next September-ish. Will probably be about 6-8 of us, early 40s, 5 days. Wanting a pool, easy beach access. Trip is mostly for relaxation, so good beach and pool is a must. Having a few good restaurants close by would be great. Not sure how much “adventuring” or exploring we will do but ok with renting a vehicle if needed.

I found a great Airbnb that checks the boxes but it’s in Puerto Nuevo… is this a good area for what we are looking for or no? What other cities/areas should I look for? Would like to visit Old San Juan but dont necessarily need to stay there.
