About 3 weeks ago I rolled my ankle.

I actually did get back to running briefly, but I think I pushed it too far. I tolerated 4.5km then did an 8km run and since then it’s been more sensitive again. Couldn’t walk without a limp for a few days, now back to walking super normal.

Current situation:
I can walk to and from work fine (4.5km) even at a fast pace. I’ve decided to take the week off of weightlifting too (mostly powerlifting movements)

Stiff shoes (like Docs) feel okay. But the second I try to run, or even walk in my Nike Vomero Plus, I get pain right away on the outer side of my foot, so I stop. Tried to run today but stopped immediately.

It’s not something that builds over time either, it’s immediate.

I’m a bit confused because it feels “better” overall, but clearly not good enough for running yet.

Has anyone dealt with something like this after an ankle roll?
