Modeling the cast of IT Crowd as a present to my son for his birthday. 🎁

We have Miss Bitters. I’m still trying to figure out the best way to print her. I’ve printed her a few ways but each has a drawback. This time I split her head down the middle, to lay her flat, in two pieces. Which was fairly clean, but I’m getting rough layers along her temples. Quarter scale draft complete.

Need to make a few adjustments. Wait for my new filament colors to arrive. Then we can print a full scale version.

As much as I love my 3D models of the kids, I do love these little flat 3D figures. It blurs the line between the 3D and 2D space. And the original art is just so hard to recreate.

The stand alone cruiser is finally ready, complete with 3D printable 2D Zim and Gir. I modeled out a 3D version of the pair but I felt it was less successful.

In between 3D printing and honing the Master Voot Cruiser model, I’ve been playing around with the expanding digital environment.

It a fit yesterday I designed Dib’s house. And today I’ve been playing with parallax solutions in a world composite.

It still feels empty so I may still do the Skool.

I’ll post the Voot to my Makerworld page. And hopefully I’ll post Zim’s completed home shortly after that.

Drafts one and two of the Voot Cruiser (Runner) I’ll do a little one for the house, and a big one that will house Zim and Gir.

Now that I’ve designed the key players, I'm starting to plan out my Invader Zim! chess set. What do you think, make Zim and Gir on one side and everyone else on the other (including Gir because Gir would likely be on both sides)? Confusing but funny. I still need to design the house (rooks) and maybe his teacher, and the tall ones. I need more ancillary figures.
