am I the only person who gets deep discomfort from seeing other trans people being forced into looking like their birth sex or misgendered (please read whole post to avoid misunderstandings)

This is hard to word so bare with me, I don’t want to sound like a privileged asshole who thinks he’s superior. I used to go to school with a closeted trans man, I will not be disclosing any details about him. Anyway, he would sit with me at lunch and often hang out with me because I was the only other out trans man in our highschool. I haven’t seen or spoke to him in years but today I saw a post that his mom made with a picture of him. He looked deeply uncomfortable, he was wearing makeup, he had even longer hair since I last saw him. Thinking about this makes me feel incredibly bad and uncomfortable for him, I keep imagining myself as him and I wish I could talk to him. His facial expression is so sad looking, he looks so unhappy and uncomfortable. I am privileged enough to be able to socially/medically transition and the amount of dysphoria I still have despite that makes me think about how much mental pain and suffering he is in. I deeply feel for anyone who is unable to transition and I feel so much empathy for them. I wish I could give him a chest binder, or even just give him words of validation, it makes me feel terrible that I can not. I want to be the support that he doesn’t have in his family, I just want to be his friend again. I hope he knows that I see him as who he truly is and I hope one day he can be able to be himself

My name has been legally changed, finally.

I don’t feel comfortable putting my full name on here but I changed my first and middle name and i’ve never been so happy. I came out as a trans man when I was 12 and I am now 18 and it has been hell on earth of just years upon years of people telling me “just wait till you’re 18!” all it is wait wait wait wait to finally be yourself. I’m proud to say i’m almost 4 months on T aswell, I did that as soon as I turned 18. I just signed some documents and i’ve never felt more happy signing my actual name on them, I don’t have to pretend to be someone i’m not this is legally set in stone and no one can change or take that away from me. I’m so happy. I don’t have to see my deadname in parentheses next to my name anymore, oh god i’m so happy man. I feel relieved. I don’t have to clock into work and see that fuckass name anymore, im so happy

I finally pass as my age :)

i’ve always passed as a man even before hrt, expect i’ve always been addressed as a younger guy, as in younger I mean like 15 lol, even though that isn’t exactly what I wanted im very thankful and i’d take that any day over being seen as a woman. I am about 3 (ish) months on T and my anxiety has been bad about everything, i’m afraid i’m not doing it right or my dose isn’t enough or the T isn’t working blah blah, anyway, I am 18 and I started a new job not too long ago and today my manager asked me how old I was and I told her that I was 18, anyway, she was like “wow! i’ve been assuming you where atleast 20!” i’ve actually never been more happy in my entire life, i’ve also realized how people have started calling me “man” and “sir” instead of “buddy” or “young man.” it’s a very nice feeling knowing that i’m very slowly getting to a point that i’m happy with :)

Sometimes I feel guilty for being a man

whenever I am around a group of women I always feel like a creep. Not that I am in anyway shape or form doing anything creepy towards women, I just feel like I don’t belong there, I feel like I am gross stinky man, like who would want a man to be there. I don’t know, I feel guilty for being a man, I don’t even know how to word it. Now that I pass I am so afraid to make women feel uncomfortable. Does this make sense?

Just found out my old doctor was basically screwing me over on my testerone (angry rant)

Went to my follow up for hormones and all that and I found out my doctor got fired. My new doctor told me that he was shocked that she was only giving me one bottle of T a month, i’m supposed to be getting four??!?!! AND she was giving me way too low of a dose to accommodate my goals, go figure. Anyway. I’m glad I won’t have to worry about running out of testosterone anymore and the micro dosing.

Weird(ish) question about dysphoria and anal stuff idk

I am a gay man and also a bottom but I also have very bad dysphoria about my area. I NEVER use my parts. I only let my partner use my ass and I have never had an issue except for the dysphoria. I don’t like how he can see my part. Is there maybe something out there like underwear that only has an opening at the ass hole? does that exist? i’m sure it does I just don’t know where to look. advice would be great

HRT is changing my sexual orientation rapidly

about a month and a few weeks on T and man it’s so fucking weird how much my sexuality has shifted, i’ve always identified as queer but all the sudden all I can think about is men, men men men men. I’m so serious. Before hrt I was genuinely considering identifying as somewhere on the aromantic spectrum and now all I can think about is kissing men. I catch myself finding so many more men attractive then I have ever in my entire fucking life, i knew my sexuality would shift but I definitely didn’t realize the extent to how much it would. It’s such a weird feeling but i like it, im definitely not complaining.

im so tired of living in a world that hates me for being transgender

I just heard that Oklahoma has now banned medicaid coverage on HRT and i’m terrified now. I’m scared that it will spread and I am panicking. it’s non stop panic I cannot live without my HRT. I feel like an alien I just want to live and be myself without being afraid all the time I feel like it won’t get better. Everyday a new law against my rights is getting passed a murder of a trans person is on the news i’m terrified and i don’t know how I can live in a world that hates me I feel awful right now
