Emergency C-section tomorrow 😭 Need advice!

I’m having an emergency C-section tomorrow and I’m completely unprepared because I spent all my time preparing for a vaginal delivery. 😭

I’d love to hear from everyone — moms, dads, partners, or relatives who have any experience or useful information about C-sections and recovery.

-What should I pack/bring?

-What are the essential recovery items?

-What should I expect in the first few days?

-Tips for pain, gas, constipation, sleeping & getting out of bed?

-Best breastfeeding positions?

-Incision-care tips?

-How much help will I need at home?

Basically, what do you wish you had known before a C-section? Any small tip, hack, or advice is welcome!

I have literally one night to prepare, so please tell me anything you think I absolutely need to know! ❤️

Career Gap or Mom Guilt—What Would You Choose?

As I'm getting closer to my delivery, I keep thinking about what comes next. My job requires a 2-hour commute each way plus an 8-hour workday. Realistically, if I continue working, I'll only get to see my baby at night.

In today's economy, living on a single income isn't easy, even though my husband is incredibly supportive says he'll stand by whatever I decide.

I'm stuck between two difficult choices:

- Take a career break and be there for my baby, but risk losing momentum in my tech career, where career gaps for women in Pakistan can be hard to recover from. I also don't know if I'll ever be able to get back into my field after taking a break. I've been financially independent for the past 4 years, and the thought of depending on pocket money again honestly terrifies me.

- Continue working, but struggle with being away from my baby all day, managing household responsibilities, and constantly feeling guilty that I can't give enough time to either my child or my home.

I genuinely don't know what the right decision is. I feel like I'll regret either choice.

If you've been in a similar situation—or have seen someone navigate it—what did you do? Do you regret your choice? What would you advise?

I'd really appreciate honest experiences and suggestions. ❤️

Pregnant, Living in a Joint Family & Clueless About My First Anniversary! 😭❤️

My first wedding anniversary is coming up, and I'm honestly so confused about how to celebrate it.

We live in a joint family, and our room is on the ground floor where everyone usually hangs out, so it's really hard to plan something private or intimate.

On top of that, I'm pregnant, so going out or planning an outdoor date isn't really an option.

I really want to make our first anniversary feel special, but I have no idea how. 🥺

And one more dilemma... what should I gift my husband? Over the past year I've already gifted him a nice hoodie, branded shoes, some eastern outfits, and a few other things, so I'm running out of ideas!

Please share your anniversary celebration ideas, gift suggestions, or even things you did for your first anniversary. I'd love to hear your experiences and any advice you have! ❤️✨

A little help for new a new mom to be

Living in Pakistan, female stuff like pregnancy and postpartum care is still pretty much a taboo topic. I’m going to be a new mom soon and honestly feel very confused about what essentials I should buy beforehand.

There’s barely any reliable guidance around us, and most of the information I find is just random stuff on the internet, which makes things even more overwhelming sometimes.

So I wanted to ask the community — moms, dads, or even people who’ve seen new moms in their family — what were your must-have pregnancy/postpartum essentials? What things were actually useful, and what turned out to be unnecessary? Also, any recommendations for good brands or products available in Pakistan would really help.

Would appreciate any advice or personal experiences ❤️
