Awaiting Wisdom Panel results

Any guesses? I got so tired of people asking when we go out in public. I got a Wisdom Panel and I’m close to the results! I’ll share them here once I get them. For those of you who have used WP, how long before I know the final results once I’m at the page shown in the photo above?

So far I’ve heard he’s obviously some terrier mix. Strangers have said he’s a scruffy Jack Russell, chihuahua, cairn terrier, yorkie, Maltese, shitzu or a schnauzer. He’s feisty, has “Napoleon complex”, is highly intelligent and by the photos you already know he runs my house. All 10 pounds of him lol! What do you guys say?

I’m close to finally knowing!

I’ve had my little guy for over 2 years now. I finally purchased and submitted a Wisdom Panel kit a few weeks ago and his results are pending!

As you can tell from being stacked on the pillows, Jirou rules my house. Feisty, big attitude, big ego, barks at the slightest noise but is also the type of dog who will curl up next me in bed and “hide” from the thunder after trying to bark and scare it off lol.

While I’m waiting on his official results, what do you guys think he is? I’ve been told he looks like a scruffy Jack Russell, a chihuahua, some type of terrier mix like a cairn maybe? Yorkie mix, part rat terrier, shitzu?

I’m pretty interested in his results! I’ll share them on here once I find out! For those who have used Widom Panel, how much longer once I’m at this stage until I have the results?

Spoke too soon about my Accord. Not sure what I should do

Background: I have a 2011 Accord SE. 113k miles. Mechanically sound.

I damaged it about a month ago. Completely messed up the passenger side doors. I was initially going to just get a whole different car because I didn’t want to invest money into an older car. But my family encouraged me to file a claim with my insurance and get it repaired. So I did. The shop I took it to had my car for 3 weeks. This is key here. 3 weeks. And this was not a cheap repair.

So yesterday I finally picked it up. Car *looks* perfect paint and condition wise. Matched the original Honda paint and everything. I drive it to the store. I go to put some groceries in the passenger side seat and I noticed when I close the door it sounds and feels kind of loose. Like something inside the door wasn’t sealed properly. So I take it back to the shop. They can’t work on it right away (of course right?) they said come back tomorrow (today)

So I returned early this morning and I leave it with them and go hang out at a Starbucks nearby. Within an hour they call me and it’s ready for pickup. I test the door and it sounds normal again. Cool. So I head out to run some errands around town. I hop on the highway and despite my music going at a decent volume I hear something coming from the passenger side door. Like a whistling noise. So I turn off my music to hear it more clearly. Definitely noticeable wind noise that wasn’t there before the accident. I also tested this at just 50mph and I hear the same noise. It doesn’t happen at lower speeds below 50. But this is annoying nonetheless.

I don’t know what to do. I seriously hate the idea of having to go back to this shop again. They already look like they don’t care much and are indifferent. But then again I paid a lot for them to have my car for 3 weeks and for it to have these issues. Should I go back to this shop a third time and have them look at it or should I actually look into a different car at this point?

Edit: Update: I took it in this morning before work and they are ordering the part. Should be here by Friday. They temporarily used a zip tie to keep it from hanging. They were actually quick to act and didn’t give me any issues. I also spent the last half hour or so cleaning all the marks and stuff they left in my interior. Thankfully I have a ton of Armor All wipes for interior and for my leather seats

I got her back!

2011 Accord SE. About 3 weeks ago I was cut off and ended up scraping up my whole passenger side against a cement wall. Finally got it back this morning. Kind of sad about not being able to get any car washes or being able to wax it with summer coming up. They said no washes for 30 days and no wax on that side for 60.
But I’m glad to have my Accord back! In a brief moment of desperation I considered selling it as is with the damage but I made a claim via insurance and they took care of me. I think it was a smarter choice than financing a whole new vehicle.
