PolarPro PeterMcKinnon VND filter - 2-5 stops or 6-9 stops?

Thinking about purchasing the PolarPro PMVND filter since I found one for the price of around 120€, but need to decide between 2-5 stop or 6-9 stop version? Apart from studio, I'm commonly shooting outside, which requires me to have a filter to handle both overcast and sunny conditions.

I use Lumix GH6 paired with fast Sigma 18-35 1.8 (F1.2) and Sigma 50mm 1.4 (F1.0) lenses via Viltrox EF-M2 Pro, and they are pretty bright, especially when filming at the aperture of 1.4 or 1.8 which I mostly do for static shoots. For the handheld ones, I step up to 2.0 or 2.4, which is still bright.

Did anybody else use that same filter with GH6 or any other MFT / APS-C camera? Thanks!

Got a deal to buy a brand new MacBook Air M4 for around 600€? Is it still worth upgrading from M1 in late 2026?

Hi everyone, MacBook Air M1 user here! I've been using my trusty M1 since the end of 2023, let's say early 2024 - mainly as my secondary machine (since I daily drive my PC) that could get my job done in terms of everyday tasks, script writing and also heavy video editing in 4K resolution, which is getting a bit harder for M1 since my new camera records footage with extremely high bit rate. Unfortunately the fact is that in 2026 8GB of RAM is becoming kind of useless, but in reality 256GB of internal storage annoys me more.

Here is the M4 part. Since I live in non-EU country that is not really famous for it's good economics, the base model of M4 Air costs above whopping 1100€, but since I got a bunch of coupons from that store that in total worth around 550€ (only catch is that I have less than a month before they expire), which makes it cost less than 600€. Used M4s also cost around 800€.

However, that deal only applies to the base version with 16GB of RAM and, unfortunately, 256GB of storage, which is pretty tight for my workflow but doable with external SSD, but since the storage prices have risen dramatically, buying the external SSD would complicate everything. What do you think about this deal? Is it an upgrade for someone who does video editing in 4K?

P.S. The prices of used M1 Air is around 400 euros, so that makes this upgrade much cheaper...

Anybody got a solution to Viltrox EF-M2 Pro’s stiff lock mechanism?

Hello everybody!

I’ve just bought the latest Viltrox EF-M2 Pro speedbooster literally a few days ago, and I must say that I’m not that happy with it. Love the fact that it has a locking mechanism, it generally feels much sturdier than the previous one I had (regular EF-M2) which broke apart in attempt to swap the lenses, two weeks ago. However, this mechanism is painfully stiff and really uncomfortable to use, especially for someone that very frequently swap lenses during the shoots. For studio setup, I’m fine with that, but for some more run‘n’gun type of filming, it’s not practical at all.

And it’s not just me. Everybody who used my camera for the last few days said the same thing.

Does anybody have a solution for this issue, or how did you overcome it?

Massimo Dutti VS H&M / ZARA / Others - Your opinion?

First of all, just to clarify, I'm not an expert in terms of fashion brands, but I do like to have a high quality clothing that would last for a while. Since the summer is coming, I saw a really cool shirt at my local Massimo Dutti store, but I've found oddly similar models on other retailers websites (H&M, Zara, etc.). Since most of the brands I've mentioned (including Dutti) are a part of INDITEX group, what is the real difference between them and Dutti?

Just curious…Thanks in advance!

Is it worth upgrading from Razer Cobra Pro to Logitech MX Master 4?

I know that both models are from completely different categories, but let's discuss this! As someone who is not gamer at all (and who mostly does video editing and creative work), I personally use Razer Cobra Pro as my daily driver for more than 2 years now and it's...fine. It has enough polling rate that I need for my 160Hz monitor, it's really light, comfortable and doesn't feel that cheap in hand, but I truly hate their Synapse 4 software and the scroll encoder issue is a total nightmare for any kind of productivity. Worst part - Cobra Pro isn't the first Razer mouse with that issue (even though I'm facing it for like 6 months or so), since I had Deathadder Essential and Viper V3 for a short period.

The MX Master 4 really caught my attention, since it has more room for customization, the design feels premium too, and the Logi Options+ has really cool features, as seen in some reviews. However, should i be worried about polling rate that is as low as 125Hz, and the difference in weight? If so, are there any lighter alternatives to MX Master series?
