Hi all,

Looking for some help with this one!

Unfortunately I purchased a tubular manifold for my build a long while back and l'd shelved the project for a while due to health issues before testing fitment.

I've come back into it and found that the manifold doesn't fit, due to one of the runners hitting the block. (See pic)

Unfortunately I've had no luck with the original seller so that's out of the question.

I've since cut the runner away to see whether a new one can be welded in place, but it's very tight for welding and since l have little to no experience in TIG, I really need a professional to look at this.

I've tried the usual places near me and they don't want to touch it.

Does anybody know of anyone that'd be willing to help? (l'm in the West Mids, so I could drop the engine block and cylinder head along with the manifold on a pallet to aid with fitment)

So the manifold I currently have has a V-Band flange too small to fit the new turbo charger housing I've purchased..

It just so happens that the new V-Band flange that came with the turbo fits snug over the old V-Band fitting..

Would it be a horrific idea to weld this in place rather than cut the old one off and weld the new flange?

Turns out my new condenser didn't come with these pins so I'm stuck in a situation where I don't have any for the new compressor.

Do I absolutely need these, or can I line it up to where it previously was by making it out from the markings...?

Does anyone know how to reset this style of SAC?

It doesn't have the springs located at the front like most SAC you see..

Is it worth replacing or cleaning up this filter housing lid?

Anyone had any issues with them rusting away/leaking?

It's not making any noise when the car is running.

Decent amount of spring back when rotating, and about 2 tooth's worth of rotation before springs are engaged.

Quite a lot of side to side movement though hence the noise in the video.
