Janet Jackson on Act III

This is obviously a wishful thinking thought rather than a genuine theory. But I would really like to see a Janet collab on act 3. The fact it would be an iconic collab alone aside, I really think she fits the bill.

She’s dabbled successfully in rock music many times before (Black Cat, If, Trust a Try, What About). She’s also an iconic black artist who history and the media have treated very poorly in the past and whose legacy is not as widely regarded and talked about as it should be, so I think her inclusion really fits the overarching theme of the trilogy of reclaiming black music history.

We also know Beyonce loves her and has been hugely inspired by her. It’s a collab I’ve always wanted to see.

Help with fatigue

So I’m 85 hours into the game, just finished what I think is most likely to be the final palace before end game (not naming to avoid spoilers).

The problem is I’ve gone from really loving the game to starting to feel a bit fatigued. It’s a great game but the pacing of having to rinse and repeat confident building and the repetitive nature of the palaces has taken some of the spark out of it.

I really want to finish the game (I’m playing and will have unlocked the main Royale content too). Roughly how long have I got left and will it get a bit less grindy now I’m heading into end game? Is there anything else I could be doing to spice things up a bit or make the gameplay more interesting. Outside of the palaces I’m mostly focusing on confidant building as a couple of the main party members are only rank 2 or 3 due to not joining until quite late in the game.

Is the DLC more of the same or will that shake things up enough to re spark some interest?

Vegan travellers, have you ever had to compromise anywhere?

This question is asked in good faith and not with the intent to judge or anyone or call them not a real vegan if they have.

But I’m curious if any vegans who travel a lot have ever been anywhere where eating fully vegan was impossible or next to impossible so you had to settle for consuming some animal products while away?

I never l knowingly have but due to language barriers I have had to make an educated guess as to whether things are vegan or not and will likely have get it wrong a few times and unknowingly consumed.

Overall I have been pleasantly surprised most places I’ve been.

Was shaving my dick and balls before a work trip a cheating red flag?

Boyfriend saw me having in the shower before leaving for a work trip and got a bit uptight/upset as to why I was doing it if we weren’t going to have sex for the next week due to me going away and although he didnt explicitly say it he heavily implied he thought I was doing it as I planned to hook up while I was away.

I genuinely just did it as my hairs were growing through and my balls were itchy as fuck, I wanted to do it before I went away so I didn’t need to pack my razor.

Did I look suspicious doing this or is my bf being unreasonable? For context I’ve never cheated and never wanted to so he has no reason to suspect.

Songs/artists that you mistakenly thought penned an already well known phrase or saying?

Inspired by Alexandra Burkes iconic claim to have been the first person to bring the phrase ‘Elephant in the Room’ to the UK, I wondered if there’s any well known sayings/phrases that you first heard due to being used in a pop song, where you thought the artist came up with it, and you later learned it was already an established one.

Mine is ‘So Happy I Could Die’. I had no idea it was a common saying and I thought Lady Gaga came up with it.

I wish more places knew about seitan

I have a bit of a new tradition with my partner where we try a new pub for a Sunday roast most weekends. While I’m generally pleased at how many offer a vegan roast 99% of them just don’t seem to realise vegan protein is a thing.

From a business perspective it would make so much more sense to serve a seitan roast too, it can be bulk made out of very cheap ingredients and frozen, they could offer it up as their vegan roast for probably a fraction of the cost of the nut roast/vegetable tart type offering most places do.

As a vegan lifter I’m a bit sick of having to supplement my Sunday roast with a protein shake to get adequate nutrition.

I like to think of myself as someone who’s very tolerant of the fact that I’m a vegan living in a non vegan world. I don’t get upset that my family/friends aren’t vegan but seeing marketing like this that trivialises the products links to the animals they’re exploiting really gets to me.
