It seems that out of nowhere recently, I’ve been running into a ton of mega mans online for the past few days. At first I didn’t really mind because he was relatively rare up to this point and a needed a break of characters I would fight almost every day(looking at you cloud) until I actually fought a couple of them and realized how annoying and unfun
this clanker is. His neutral game is just throwing shit at you. I know in his games he runs and shoots pellets at his enemies, but that doesn’t mean it’s exactly fun to face. The big thing about ARMS is that you’re throwing punches from across the stage, and that’s exactly what Min Min does, and no one fucking likes her. Not to mention like Min Min, Mega Man mains see no problems with corner camping and throwing all his bullshit at you. Like, it’s not fun, it’s not cool or interesting, it’s just boring and annoying. You’re just a soulless blue bitch not even capcon gives a shit about anymore. I think the only character in the game more soulless than mega man is mii gunner. Fuck mega man, fuck his pellets, fuck his leaf shield, fuck his crash bomber, fuck his sawblade, fuck his up air, and fuck you if you corner campi with this irrelevant hunk of bolts.

Mrio just LOVED to die. Maybe because I suck at dodging but while Luigi could survive pretty well, M*rio dropped like a bug after like 3 hits.

I don’t care if they’re bottom tier, fuck them and their moveset. They all have the same gameplan: run to the corner, spam projectiles(walking a little closer if they realize you’re too far), and use chain + up special when you are up close. Doesn’t help that their 3 projectiles are the most aggravating shit that makes Zelda blush. I’m genuinely going to start blocking these cunts because I genuinely can’t stand it. Fuck you if you main belmonts.

Every single game. Run to the edge. Throw crown. Blunderbuss. It’s like that’s their only gameplan. And when I do get in, they spammed dash attacks or counters. And they also just loved to run away despite playing a heavy. It took until GAME FIVE we played together for them to remember K. Rool has different moves. And they still spammed them! This person was so predictable they didn’t even bother trying to counter or punish my incredibly predictable gameplay! If you’re reading this, do better.

So we all know that ever since Sticker Star, strict development restrictions were put on the devs to only use existing Mario characters instead of making original ones. I’ve always had a problem with this, because how are completely original characters like Kersti, Huey, Olivia, and King Olly allowed to exist, but a, for example, maroon colored Bob-omb with a beanie named Billy, not? The “original character” in question really isn’t that original, just an existing character barely changed, while the other characters are completely unique with their own lore and stuff.
