is nu metal really dead?

a lot of people associate nu metal with the 2000s but i dont really think it has gone anywhere, nu metal is pretty much the foundation of most modern metal, be it something like spiritbox or sleep token or knocked loose or vein.fm or even something like slaughter to prevail, most modern metal is basically a mixture of nu metal and djent, which is why i think its easier for most metalheads in their 30s and 40s(or maybe even 50s) today to relate to newer bands unlike in the 90s. where bands from the 70s sounded nothing like deftones limpbizkit and korn

Favourite john woo film?
