Do you think the live-action Zelda movie will follow the story of a specific game or will it offer an original storyline ?
In Cyberpunk 2077, I can't seem to get the Trauma Team outfit from the Trauma Drama arcade machine. Do you know a trick to reach 450,000 points? (It's really too hard.) PLEASE
Do you think Alien: Isolation 2 will be a fully open-world game (with no movement restrictions) or a title with a more limited scope (featuring only specific explorable areas) ?
I haven't played Darkwood; is it really as terrifying as people say ?
Do you think the weapons from Alien: Isolation 1 will be in Alien: Isolation 2?
Games have become too expensive.
Prices have been skyrocketing for quite some time now, whether for physical copies (say goodbye to boxed games by 2028) or digital versions sold on the PlayStation Store, Nintendo eShop, and so on.
For starters, development costs keep rising; studios need funds to pay developers and produce high-quality games. But does that really justify such high prices especially when some titles launch riddled with bugs (looking at you, Cyberpunk, even if you eventually redeemed yourself) or sorely lacking in content?
The problem is that, beyond the base price, we are seeing a proliferation of paid extra content DLC, microtransactions, Deluxe editions that takes a heavy toll on one's budget.
Frankly, seeing a game like Mario Kart World cost more than the standard edition of GTA VI is simply absurd.
Logically speaking, a major AAA game should cost around 40 or 50 euros... not to mention indie games.
In short, that’s what the industry looks like today... a delightful picture, isn't it ?
The Game Awards is the absolute worst video game ceremony out there.
It’s the same thing every year: ads, sponsors, celebrities who sometimes have nothing to do with video games, and developers who don’t even have time to thank their teams.
The event is billed as the biggest video game awards ceremony, but ultimately, it feels more like a massive marketing exercise saturated with trailers. The awards take a back seat, and some choices are so questionable that the voting no longer seems to reflect players' opinions at all.
I only watch the show for the game announcements. But as an awards ceremony, the Game Awards are, in my view, the worst showcase the industry has to offer. It’s exactly like the Summer Game Fest: an annual disappointment, save for a rare few titles. The people voting for the games simply don’t know the first thing about video games.
Not to mention that insufferable Joe Keely and his vacant stare.
But as a French person, I find that Americans really go overboard with these ceremonies though that’s just my opinion.
Do you think we'll finally get some news about BioShock 4 soon?
The game was announced years ago, yet we’ve seen virtually nothing: no gameplay, no official title, and no release date.
Given recent rumors about development troubles, do you think the project is still alive? Can we hope for an announcement this year, or do you think the release is still years away?
In any case, would you prefer a return to Rapture or Columbia, or an entirely new city? Apparently, a leak confirmed that the game would take place in Antarctica we’ll have to see if that turns out to be true when the time comes.
Do you think Red Barrels will announce Outlast 3 someday?
I am often asked whether Outlast 3 is in development, so here is a quick recap.
As of now, Red Barrels has not yet officially announced Outlast 3. The studio remains focused on The Outlast Trials, which continues to receive updates and new content.
However, the developers have hinted several times that they intend to return to the main series with a proper Outlast 3 once development on The Outlast Trials has progressed sufficiently.
For the moment, no release date, trailer, or official screenshots have been revealed. We simply know that the project is part of the studio's future plans, but we will have to wait for an official announcement to learn more.
Do you think Outlast 3 will be a direct sequel to Outlast 2, continuing Blake's story, or will it tell a completely new tale? Either way, the ending of Outlast 2 is highly ambiguous and leaves plenty of possibilities to explore.
Am I the only one who was disappointed by Summer Game Fest? (I know, I'm late.)
In my opinion, this year's Summer Game Fest was very disappointing. To back up this view, I’ve identified two issues with the event.
The first: games we’ve seen time and time again. Many of the announced titles relied on stale concepts and felt like déjà vu like that game shown at the start of the presentation that looked eerily similar to Ghost of Tsushima (I’ve forgotten the exact title). We’ve seen that kind of game a dozen times before. The second issue:
We were expecting numerous titles, such as Intergalactic Heretics of the Prophets (or Prophets of the Heretics (the exact name escapes me), Hogwarts Legacy 2, Jurassic Park: Survival, and so on. These games have been waiting in the wings for a long time, but unfortunately, their moment still hasn't arrived. Anyway, this was just a quick rant to express my dissatisfaction with this year's Summer Game Fest. In any case, Summer Game Fest never should have happened; E3 should have lived on, but unfortunately, that demon Joe Keely decided otherwise (I hate you, Joe Keely, with your dead-fish stare).
Regardless, feel free to share your thoughts on Summer Game Fest 2026, and sorry if I’ve annoyed anyone.
What can be inferred from the ending of Alien: Isolation ?
At the end of the game, Amanda manages to leave Sevastopol Station and reach the Torrens. However, a Xenomorph bursts through a door on the Torrens implying it killed Verlaine and explaining why she had gone silent upon Amanda's return so Amanda decides to eject herself from the ship along with the creature.
As she drifts through space, a faint light reflects off her helmet visor, suggesting she has been rescued by another vessel. Nevertheless, Creative Assembly has confirmed that Amanda will not be the protagonist of the next installment; instead, the lead character will be someone named Blake.
Amanda could potentially be the focus of a spin-off continuing her story after the first game or perhaps DLC that might revive interest in the original title ahead of the sequel's release.
I know it’s unlikely, but extra content would be cool; we already had the two DLCs where you had to trap the Alien in a section of the Nostromo, and another where you played as Ellen during the finale of the first movie.) Anyway, did you like the ending of Alien: Isolation?
Why did Creative Assembly decide to completely change the protagonist of Alien: Isolation 2 ?
There was immense potential to expand upon Amanda Ripley's story. That said, the game's trailer contains a subtle nod to the original title: the section of the ship visible in the Summer Game Fest trailer comes from the part of Sevastopol that Waitts jettisoned with Amanda on board an act intended to expel the Xenomorph from the station while simultaneously using her as bait. Instead of Amanda Ripley, as in the first installment, we will now have a new protagonist named Blake.
