SW200 very fast crown up

I have a Marathon watch with SW200 and has been solid for me. Timekeeping is just under 7 sec/day aggregate when measured against atomic clock.

However, just got a timegrapher and am getting very fast readings in the crown up position only. Fairly consistent in other positions.

Thought this might be the timegrapher but other watches do not have this problem.

Acoustic anomaly from the asymmetric Navigator case or movement problem?

Saw Zodiac released a proper chronograph and had to snag one. Have only had it for three days, but..

The deep blue dial is beautiful in any light.
+3 sec/day
Bezel is fantastic
Great lume
Looks great on a Marathon FKM GSAR strap

7-7.25" wrist fwiw

Was worried it's be too big/heavy but no such concern. It is fine if not ideal in all dimensions. The height is an advantage insofar as the crown and pushers won't dig into your wrist/hand when doing tool watch things.

Only "negative" so far, if you can call it that, is some slop in the movement when setting the time, but this is a characteristic of these valjoux derivatives and contributes to reliability/serviceability. Easy to work around by setting a few minutes past target and then going backwards to set the precise time. Once set it is on point.

Eager to put this one through its paces.

This is a pretty neat watch, but I've never encountered a manual wind w screw down crown. All my manuals have a fairly hard stop when wound.

Was thinking if fully wound, what do you then do to screw the crown down? Must be some mitigation in place like a slip clutch, or maybe it winds in the opposite direction?
