The first thought that came to your mind when you started dressing modestly.

For me, it was whether I would be able to stick with it or not. Of course, I also wondered what people would think of me because I started dressing modestly when I was at university. So, there was that pressure, but the bigger question was whether I would be able to stay consistent.

What was the most difficult part for you?

Was it worrying about how your family or the people around you would react? Or did you feel like you were losing a part of your identity because changing your style can make you feel that way?

Or Was it something completely different?

One piece of clothing you loved when you started your modesty journey.

When I started, wide-leg jeans were my go-to.

Still obsessed with them tbh. They give me full coverage and make the whole outfit look put together with just a cute top, sneakers or slipper's depending on where I’m going.

What was yours? Like that one piece you kept reaching for again and again?

What was the hardest part of starting your modesty journey?

Was it figuring out what to wear and finding your style? Dealing with judgment from family, friends, or people around you?

Or was it something completely different?

Don't you feel overheated in hijab?

My colleague asked me this question, and I honestly found it funny.

Like… we’re all wearing business casual, and somehow you think it’s just my hijab making me overheat?

What are some unexpected or funny questions you've gotten from your circle as a modest dresser?

Modest doesn’t feel like a synonym for plain, beige, and boring.

Modesty doesn’t mean you have to retire from your personal style.

If you want more coverage, you can still have colours, prints, interesting silhouettes, layering, and statement pieces.

Because modesty and pretty are never opposites.

So, why does everyone think that the moment an outfit gets more modest, the fashion gets turned down to 20%?

What’s your take? 👀

Is modest fashion actually giving… or are we still stuck in the beige era?

If you could fix one thing about modest fashion, what would it be?

If your answer is "none of these," tell us what we missed.

Bonus points if you name the one clothing item you wish brands would make properly. 👀
