I just am not having fun with Genshin currently and the playerbase is actively insufferable with mostly being Hoyoshills who would die for the company and the group who want everyone to quit cause "they are not the target demographic" even though the game launched with Venti.

Childe is an unreliable narrator and Fatui got retconned are 2 different levels cause Childe being stupid is one thing but CONTINUING to see even Arl did not get retconned is another thing.

Fun Fact, Child is the character I gooned to the most and for the longest time I hated his character but I would still go back to his saucy art cause they made me drool.

Tartaglia was seen as an unreliable narrator due to him being unsettled by Columbina and warning us of her and how Arlecchino is insane as hell.

Both of those are not true cause Arlecchino is not crazy and Columbina is just socially awkward and no one needs to be unsettled by her so everyone was like "This man is just dumb." Arlecchino had this voice line stating that she had little interest in Sandrone. People said this is bullshit cause no adult especially one as stoic as Arlecchino would have a slumber party with someone they did not care for and trust like they are a friend. So people to try and justify that this is not a retcon said "Oh she is just lying to the Traveler about her relationship to Sandrone to protect her" which is a dumb af argument cause who lies in their profile and why would she lie about Sandrone but not her past not her kids ever.

Arlecchino then got an updated voice line stating she actually did not have interest in Sandrone so the argument she was lying fell so hard and it proves that one of two things. Arlecchino is a fake friend who also does not make sense cause why would she go out of her way to comfort her if that’s her perception.

But the most likely outcome is this is a retcon and the Fatui were planned to be like how Tartaglia saw them but Hoyo back peddled and wanted to write them off as good people who are not unsettling nor insane.

The Shades hold Phanes authority they are not related to Nibelung or Teyvat in the slightest. Phanes created them in the image of the moon sisters but they have no other correlation in terms of authority or power or character.

If they were as strong as the Moon Sisters or held their authority then Columbina would not have failed to remove Asmoday's restrictions, they would not be able to come into be unless Phanes stole the moon sisters authority just like what they did for the elemental sovereigns and their authority and they would not be called shadows that came from PHANES.

Holy Fuckin Shit man. People want to downplay Phanes as much as possible.
