Can we please ban "Is this cartridge/console authentic" posts?

I personally come here for discussion of the GBA platform, not for people asking if games are real or not. It feels like most posts I see are posts asking about authenticity, but these posts are low quality and should probably go in their own subreddit. Mods, can these kinds of posts please be banned from this subreddit?

Looking to buy some G1 toys for the first time, where should I start?

As a kid in the 2000's, I had Transformers G1 Season 1 on DVD and watched the hell out of it. I remember getting Transformers toys and feeling kind of let down that they looked nothing like the G1 designs since it was around when the original Michael Bay movie came out. A couple years ago I stumbled upon the G1 episode YouTube uploads by Hasbro and ended up watching the full series and loving it. I've been considering getting some of my favorite G1 characters as toys for a while since then, but it's kind of difficult for me to comprehend where to even start. There are a lot of different series and reissues and knockoffs and I'm not too sure what to consider buying, as a lot of the toys are pretty expensive. I do like the original G1 toys the most, but obviously they're largely out of my budget, so I'd happily settle for one of the reproductions Hasbro has made over the years, although it's kind of tricky to find them on eBay. There are a lot of sellers selling what appear to be knock offs of the G1 toys which look very accurate to the originals, but I am concerned about how high quality they might be. Additionally, with the '86 movie being rereleased, I'm interested in the toy releases Hasbro is coming out with now.

The characters I'm most interested in are Soundwave (my favorite), Optimus Prime (but only really one based on the original G1 toy with the transforming trailer), Grimlock, and Astrotrain. I'm considering starting with the studio series Soundwave for the '86 movie considering it's an official figure I can get new, but I might also consider one of the knock off reproductions of the original G1 figures on eBay if there's a higg quality one out there. What do you think?

Does anyone have the Super Mario 64 GBA port ROM?

There's been a port of Super Mario 64 for the Game Boy Advance going around, and I've been trying to find a ROM of it online to no avail. Does anyone have a download link for it? I already checked the megathread. Thanks!

Sword Fight on the Heights 2 map partially found?

While playing a game called "Model Hell" which spawns in random models, a model with ID 13566512 that appears to be the lost Sword Fight on the Heights 2 map spawned. I saved the model and gave it a closer look in Roblox Studio. Comparing it with the only image I've been able to find of SFOTH 2 I could find (which was archived from the game page), it seems like a match. It's more complex than SFOTH Original, and it's lacking a lot of the stuff from SFOTH 3. Unfortunately, it seems like whoever uploaded the model destroyed part of it, so it's still somewhat lost. The tools aren't there and it looks like a virus script got in, and some of the parts got deleted and possibly moved around. A bunch of spawns are in places they shouldn't be as well. Still, I haven't found any other archives of SFOTH 2, so this could be the first one discovered. The model has no reviews or votes, so I don't think anyone's ever found it yet.

Here's a comparison between the screenshot on the archived game page and the model:

As you can see, a lot of stuff is unfortunately gone, including some of the pillars and the entire checkerboard section. Perhaps another model will surface someday with a more complete map of the game?

The original Elektronika 60 Tetris on an IBM 3151 CRT serial terminal!

This is the original version of Tetris, developed by Alexey Pajitnov in Moscow during 1984. It was developed for the Elektronika 60 minicomputer, a clone of the DEC PDP-11 minicomputer released in 1970. I'm running it on a PiDP-11, a recreation of the PDP-11 using a Raspberry Pi to simulate the original computer. Because the E60 was a clone of the PDP-11, typically software written for one system will work for the other, including Tetris.

The terminal is an IBM 3151 amber monochrome CRT terminal released in 1987. Using a USB to serial adapter, it's possible to hook up pretty much anything with a command line interface to it, including modern Linux computers. Unlike most consumer CRTs, a serial terminal only really sends characters typed to the computer, which sends back characters for the terminal to display. In that way, it's sort of like a keyboard and a monitor combined, although it can only display texts or ASCII graphics.

A useful feature of the 3151 is it can emulate various older terminal types. The terminal used with the E60 was a clone of the DEC VT52 known as the "15ИЭ-00-013". The main difference is the 15ИЭ-00-013 can display cyrillic characters used in the Russian language. Tetris used cyrillic characters, however since this terminal was sold in English speaking countries, it displays them as latin alphabet characters. The VT52 is being emulated by my 3151 to allow the game to display properly. It's also possible to run the original Soviet terminal in MAME to get the proper cyrillic character set.

Time feels like an illusion. Minutes, hours, days, months, years... It feels like it's all just an illusion. I don't know how old I am, nor how long I've been sitting here, just doing nothing. It feels like it could've been years, or it could've been minutes. My mind simply can no longer process it.

I also have Susie (Bowser) and Ralsei (Yoshi)! It's really easy to make them actually, you just need NTAG215 NFC sticker tags which you can stick underneath the bases. They're concave bottoms so they'll still stand without any issues.
