I've had the repro cardback for a while, but thanks to a Birthday gift from the wife, I now have a genuine '82 Grunt to go on it π₯ππ₯
Latest Class picture, lol.
Gonna add a couple more Cobras, not sure who just yet- maybe a Retro Destro.
Just got hired as a decorator for a locally renowned family-owned bakery, and I'm stoked!!! Been doing the grocery gig for almost 5 years now, so this feels like a step up π€. No more answering phone calls from customers, or taking walk up orders!! Opportunities to learn other crafts in the bakery!
Curious who else has made the jump from the grocery game to a legit scratch-made type bakery? How'd the transition go? Pic is of a recent two tiered π
Vintage 80's Kusarigama with hidden chain! Musashi Martial Arts company π₯ππ₯
Could someone tell me what style or technique this is called (for the frosting application) so I could maybe watch some tutorials online? Please and thanks in advance.
Well good golly!! Thanks E.E.
Heck of a lot earlier than I was expecting π€π€
I'm convinced that Halloween parties in the 70's were way more lit than today. My Dad took these photos- that's my Mom as a graduate, lol
At last a proper compound bow for the V2 Storm Shadow!!
I like the Ninja Force Zartan, but not enough to buy him. But I've been after his bow since the beginning!!!
"Rendezvous point should be just over that ridge and then we... " THWWACK!!!!
My Mother in law had great skill in the 80's, making Halloween costumes for my wife and her siblings. The 'Medusa' is long gone- as is 'ET's light up finger- however we luckily still have the bulk of ET β€οΈ
Shout out to my Mother in law who possessed amazing paper mache' skills in the 80's!!!
The light up finger is long gone- sadly- however we still have the bulk of her amazing ET. Handmade and hand painted. A real survivor π
80's fun!!! Man those masks got hot, lol
Nothing enraged an older sister more than her little brother being in her room, lol. So this was a rare event of her snapping a pic of me posing in front of her 'Rock-N-Roll Express' life sized poster (and Motley Cru posters) holding a wooden guitar a cousin built. That's a knit tank top btw π1987?
So some might not get it, but back when COVID started and people were stuck at home, I got bored and decided to make my own faux "museum quality" ninja display for myself because, why TF not? It's semi authentic- highly inspired by my love of cheesy 80's ninja films π₯·.
I used a real rusting- effect technique to make everything look very old and beat up. A mix of pvc, rubber, wood, and foam peices- although the caltrops are real metal peices, as are the "grappling hooks" (the large 3 pronged hook is an antique- and heavy as hell, lol. If I had a 3D printer back then it all surely could've been much more lightweight). I had it displayed for a while in my house- now it sits on the top of some basement shelves, gathering dust, lol. I've been meaning to build a frame of some kind for it to sit in, but until then I have no idea what to do with it π
Claypool Gold will be in town in 4 days. My 20 yr old son said $40 for a t-shirt was too rich for his blood, so he decided to make his own π€π€. I may ask him for one myself one day.
Sweet timing!!! (Pun intended) The new Star Wars Grogu movie just came out (not Mando's movie, this is Grogu's movie π), and a family member just so happens to be having a Mandalorian/Star Wars themed Birthday!!! They left the design up to me, and I think it turned out alright π
That one time my kid asked for a GB themed Birthday party.
Green tablecloth "slime" wall border, hand drawn characters, tons of dollar store poster board, lol
