A translucent white orb... was someone watching me?
Hello,
I'm trying to understand what happened to me last night because I honestly can't stop thinking about it.
I almost never have insomnia, yet last night I simply couldn't fall asleep. My heart was pounding incredibly fast, my body felt strange, and I had the overwhelming sensation that it no longer belonged to me. I felt tingling, vibrations, and an intense sense that something wasn't right. This lasted for about three hours.
At one point, I looked straight ahead and saw a very small, almost translucent white orb floating in front of me. Then something really strange happened.
Without even thinking about it, I suddenly said out loud, completely convinced of what I was saying:
>"Oh... someone is watching me during their astral projection."
The words just came out of my mouth. I have no idea why I said that or where that thought came from. As soon as I finished the sentence, the little orb disappeared immediately.
For the rest of the night I still felt as if my body wasn't really mine. I kept feeling vibrations, my heart was racing, I was extremely anxious, and I found myself talking to myself about what had just happened.
Now it's the next morning, and I can't stop thinking about it.
Has anyone experienced something similar?
Could this simply have been a state between sleep and wakefulness, or a panic attack?
For those who believe in astral projection, is it considered possible to see someone else in the form of a small translucent orb? Or was my mind simply creating a very vivid experience?
I'm not looking for certainty I genuinely want to understand what happened and hear different perspectives.
