Maybe fried my mobo. Is the firmware thermal security feature really this abysmal?

I'm used to working with Mini-PCs I moved my trusted setup of usb C hub, powerbank and booted steamdeck mobo with fresh nvme drive. I got to Ventoy menu to select my ISO to install linux, but my keyboards weren't working. I tried wireless as well as simple wired one. (some boards don't like wireless)

I couldn't get it to work so I rebooted, suddenly I got 3 reboots without screen popup, finally screen showed up, I got graphical glitch of stripes with noise and different colors, Fan turned off, and the GPU kept drawing power so the board started heating up. I Unplugged it but this is really stupid design.

They must have a bug in firmware where the fan stops spinning but the chip doesn't cut the powerdraw so it keeps heating up.

USB-C spec is really advanced and due to the handshake, the device shouldn't accept any other voltage than what it can't handle so that part is secure.

OpenSource Choc V2 compatible Ortho board. Do you know of schematic?

I'm cursed by liking the most basic layout, with too many keys, which nobody ever chooses.

I like using both split and whole keybaord, that's why I have magnets, I use muscle memory when it's in chocolate bar state for CAD work and games or general apps.
That's why Lily58 and other columnar staggers don't work for me.

Now why am I cursed? Because there is only one source of these boards on the market, and that's Keebio. Lily58, Corne, Sofle - All of these have alternative sources, but this one doesn't exist, and it's not in Europe.

I'm ready to make my own at this point, I've found my endgame, I only need to make it mine with modular touchpad/trackpoint. If I found atleast similar open source design that supports current low profile norm.
The V1 and V2 LP switches are nightmare, but Nuphy and other manufacturers made the norm, and I'd like my board to use these. If there is any similar layout, I'd just adjust it myself in Kicad, or start from scratch once I have one key and spacing down, I can create an array and play with the paths.

I have schematic for Reflexion65 to teach myself, but it's for standard MX switches.

Will the pads for soldering come out correct?

Are the pads for components and USB wires correct here? Will they come out the same from production so I can solder onto them?

Very young I've started reading journey with Harry Potter and Narnia. Later on I've done my fair share of Warcraft and Warhammer malus as well as slayer saga books, they are a mess now and I don't know where I've stopped and what has been written since then.
Witcher, Eragon, Hobbit and now I've gotten to Farseer Trilogy.

I'll include spoiler with tag which annoyed me, so don't read if you plan to read this series.
>!The main villain of the series has been pain in the arse for entirety of the trilogy and the revenge had no taste at all. There was one sentence and that was it.!<

Other books I've read had much more satisfying endings from what I remember.
Outliers to fantasy that I read are Hunger Games and entire Sherlock Holmes collection.

I'm considering Discworld but I'd like more options.
