Just heard Speak Now for the first time as a Taylor Swift hater

I cannot stand her last 2 albums i think its so corny and cringe so many bad songs imo. But I just checked out Speak Now and that album was TOUGH like bro I didnt realize her music sounded like that back in the day, she had so much passion in her vocals and production was exciting. What happened??? She isn’t half the artist today that she was back in this album (at least in my opinion)

Speak Now rating- 8/10 it was actually great like wtf i was not expecting that

Pitchfork honestly might be racist at this point

The fact that they gave low ball scores to Drake, Jcole, and Kendrick, ALL of the big 3, just shows they dont appreciate the genre and is low key a racist look for them. None of these albums are bad. I wasnt a fan of GNX but a lot of people enjoyed it, The Fall Off was amazing, and Iceman has been great so far.

This album just keeps growing on me… (The Fall Off)

At first I really liked it but didn’t want honeymoon phase to heavily impact my opinion on it. But now its been a few months and I have to say that its just aging so well to me. I love this album, its a strong contender for my rap album of the 2020s along with Introvert, Alfredo 2, and Forever Story. And usually I would consider myself to be more of a Kendrick fan over Jcole but this album was truly amazing.

Favorite songs: 1. Safety, 2. Run a Train, 3. Lonely at the Top, 4. TFO is Inevitable, 5. I love her again, 6. Quik Stop, 7. What If 8. the Villest 9. Poor Thang 10. The Let Out

I just named all these 10 songs and forgot to include 39 intro… wow this album. I’d put it around #3.

Least Favorite: Man Up Above??? I mean I still like the song…

Rating 9+ / 10 (meaning not sure if i can give it a 10 yet but its at least a 9 for me)

Whats all the fuss about?

I just got BO7 yesterday and have been playing it all day multiplayer and zombies and having an absolute blast. This isnt the dumpster fire that all these people and youtubers online were making it out to be. Ive been playing COD since 2005 and took a break after MWII (2022) because i didnt really want to play a modern warfare 2 years in a row so i just decided to get into other games for a few years. But man ive been playing COD for 20 years and this one is one of those good ones! Ive heard even from the biggest fans that the campaign is genuinely pretty bad so im not even gonna bother playing. And all that talk online about “cod is dying” “Bo7 all time low sales and player numbers” had me thinking like dang this one must be awful and COD is losing relevance. But looking deeper into it, Cod is like consistently top 1-4 most played games on console rotating with games like Fortnite Roblox and Minecraft. For a game thats “out of its prime and completely dead” i’d say thats pretty impressive😂 also people look at these steam numbers as an indicator that no one plays COD and everyone was playing battlefield but that ended up just not being true, 60% of Battlefields playerbase is on steam. Probably less than 5% of COD’s playerbase is on steam. A lot of PC players probably want to get it on gamepass I have to assume.

I know i did a lot of rambling but to summarize, the narratives (for the most part) are wrong around this game and its really fun. And the people saying the game is dead and no one plays it are just straight up lying.

I havent played a COD since MW2019 and i just kinda figured that CoD kinda died off because i havent seen people really talking about it and i heard the sales were getting rough or something but I just seen that apparently its still like consistently top 1-4 trading places with Minecraft Roblox and Fortnite? Are the games still good and people still actually playing it? Most of my friends quit COD years ago
