I left a post on here yesterday .....

I suffer from serve OCD and intrusive thoughts and extreme stress.....

I haven't been outside for 7 years , not even in the garden , for the last 6 years I've been pretty much bedbound , .....

A couple of years ago I got a couple of lumps come up on my head , because of my OCD picking is a big coping mechanism, I constantly picked at scabs for 2 years ....

I started noticing my crown was getting a little thinner , for the last 4 months I've stopped and the bumps haven't been popping up every other day .... I thought I would shave my head to see what the condition of my scalp was to see if it was effecting my hair density , I was shocked to see how many marks were left as it shows in the photos .....

I thought I would come on here yesterday to ask for advice , I tried to tell people about the picking and the scabs but alot of the advice was , just use fin or milx , or your going to loose all your hair ..... A couple of people said it's fine and I don't need to use it , but after shaving my head to inspect the damage I'm more confident that all this irritation is what's causing it , I've always had thick hair , my grandad starting balding on his crown at about 60 and my dad is 80 and only just starting to think on his crown ..... My brother has thick hair to ......

I'm going to get the doctor to do a home visit but as you can see from the photos there are follicles all over my crown and no bald spots, I can feel stubble across my whole head Inc the crown, where the inflammation is most serve , even in the infected bits ..... I've stopped picking for 4 months now so I need to just see

But on another forum people were telling me I was losing my hair and to take action quick with these medications , thank you to the people that told me they didn't think I needed it and it would be a mistake to jump in straight away

( M25 ) Am I balding ? ..... I had alot of scabs on my head for a couple of years , I suffer from serve OCD and stress and picking them was a coping mechanism ..... I know they can scar if you do it to much .....

I suffer from chronic stress and anxiety aswell .....

My grandad had a bald spot in his mid 60s and my dad is 80 and only just started to get on ......

My hair feels thick when I touch it .....

But photos look different.....

I did have a scalp infection and I would pick scabs for two years on my head .....I know they can scar your head buty mum says that she can see tiny baby hair growing back where it was infected ......

Has anyone have a bit of advice for me please
