Hi everyone! Just wanted to share today's outfit creation. It literally took me all day... Hopefully with time I'll get faster though 😜

Details:

-Pattern for super flare pants made by me

-Cotton fabric from hobby lobby for pants

-Top is made from a sock. No pattern used, just freestyled... I tried my hand at a puffy sleeve.. Not sure if that's what it's called though, it's super late and my brain is mush lol. I wanted to keep the sweater kinda fun and went with a cropped style bc what else would a girl who wears a belly chain wear? Plus, i live in Texas and winter is basically a handful of days you MIGHT need a jacket for PART of the day lol.

-Hand sewed everything

-Ignore her messy hair and the hair accessory as i just tied a piece of scrap sock there to jazz it up... Also, i tried to take out her earrings and broke one off 😭

I just wanted to share this three piece set I made and as a new sewist I'm pretty proud of it! I drafted the pattern for all three pieces myself and hand sewed everything with this cute vintage fabric I had stashed away. Now I just need to find the perfect big sunglasses and earrings to finish off the look!

Hey y'all! Me again 🤣... It took literally ALL day but I'm so proud i actually drafted my own pants pattern and hand sewed them for my new My Scene doll. I wanted a dramatic flare and i think i achieved that 🤪 ... Tomorrow i will be making a top in the same vintage fabric so i hope it turns out nicely! With anyone be interested in the pattern? I only saw this doll for the first time recently and I immediately knew i had to have her! Unfortunately i quickly found out she's not exactly financially friendly lol. Thankfully the timing was just right and my husband asked me what i wanted for our anniversary and this is what i picked! She came with her dress but I'm currently sewing some other clothes for her so ignore her making tape bodice 😜 For anyone wondering, this is Roller Girls Kennedy and from what i understand, this line is the only one that used this face sculpt with the partially open mouth. That's what really sold me on her!

I'm pretty new with this doll sewing thing but I'm really liking it! I found hand sewing to be pretty relaxing and i like being able to get comfy on the couch and work. I made this little vest style top from a pattern i made myself.. First time making a pattern and it definitely still needs some alterations but I just kept going with it because I wanted to actually complete something (I'm very bad about hopping around and abandoning things LOL). I'll probably make her a little white tube top to go under it but I like it without also! I've been trying to make things for Abbey specifically because she's just harder to find things that fit in general plus she's so dang cute she deserves a cute wardrobe! Hey! I just wanted to know if you ordered a handmade accessory for Lagoona, would this original artwork be something you would like to receive with your package or would you just throw it out? I painted her then made prints that i laminated. I was thinking i could even use it to write a thank you on the back of. I just didn't wanna waste time and money if the general consensus is "trash" lol

I just bought this acrylic paint rack for $6.99.. Actually bought it for my paint, but as soon as i put it together i had a vision and it worked perfectly! I actually flipped it upright to make it taller instead of deeper but you can do either way. Could even put it on the wall I'm sure! Now don't give me a hard time but i did get it at Hobby Lobby..i know, i know- but I'm in a small town with no other craft store options but I'm sure Michael's or somewhere has something very comparable!

I worked on cleaning her pretty gluey hair last night and made these little "curlers" thatI based on ones i loved in the 90s lol. i got her hair pretty clean with my estee lauder eye makeup remover and dawn dish soap! I only left these rods in maybe 2 hours but i think there's promise!

It took me a few tries to get the mold right and a ton of tweaking to get the perfect color but i couldn't be happier with how they finally turned out! This was the hardest piece I've tried duplicating so I'm just proud and wanted to share 😊

The shorts from the roller skating set for her well but the rest of the set doesn't..i might try on a different mh doll though. But the pink party dress set is perfect. I love how it matches the hair from the self scare secrets Drac!

I got the potion room playset and made a room inside a shelf so i had to take a few pics of her being extra cute lol. I can't wait to decorate her room more though!

Scored a huge lot of about 40 dolls on marketplace today, 15 of them monster high and these beauties were in there! I paid $60 for the whole lot ave can't believe my luck!

I just wanted to share with others that can understand my excitement of scoring a pretty big lot for only $60!!! The first photo on the listing just had like 5 Barbies and i thought $60 was a good deal already but then i scrolled through the pics and got really excited to see monster high and rainbow high Dolls as well! Read the listing and it sounded even better. I drove 2 hrs one way in heavy rain and it was even better when i got there! There's like 40 full size dolls total (15 are monster high), Barbies, including some in box, 13 lol omg surprise dolls, multiple Krissy and Chelsea dolls, several Disney dolls, lots of Barbie clothes and accessories plus some furniture and Barbie car, and my favorite part... 4 of the monster high Dolls are ooak customs that came from a doll artist in the UK! I just can't believe i got so lucky!

Just wanted to share a couple things I've been working on and am excited about! The fins i molded and cast so that they are 3 dimensional on both sides! Both the shoes and the fins are flexible and i love the feel of them! I got carried away with the coloring on the fins so they're a tad more opaque than i wanted but still pretty! The shoes kind of remind me if lagoona was Cinderella and these were her glass slippers 😊, now i just have to make the matching shoe 🤣

When your almost 4 year old keeps shoving mini babies up the Barbies' shirts and your tired of waiting for the pregnant my mini baby mama doll to come out.. You make your own lol... It's removable and yes there's a baby in there! This is my rough prototype but I'm still thrilled with how it turned out! The head was one of my first repaints and reroots i just threw on the body so she wasn't headless

Got on marketplace for $10 today and I'm surprised at how heavy she is and feels like a really nice quality. I see there's a few variants a well... Just had no idea these existed, and were apparently discontinued after a couple of years.
