By the way, I’m also an introvert and not really that outgoing. Hindi ko talaga naiintindihan ang mga pinagsasabi ng friends ko na sobrang hirap daw akong basahin until nagka-crush ako on this guy sa church namin. We are literally so alike. Literal na pareho kami na magsasalita lang kung may nagtatanong and kung wala edi tikom talaga ang bibig namin. During gatherings naman, we both prefer to stay in a quiet corner and observe everyone else.

I like him because I can really tell that he’s kind and really talented. He’s also freaking tall. We also share the same interests and I want us to bond over it. Hindi rin kami gaanong nag-iinteract aside from the typical hi and hello.

I don’t know kung delusional lang ba talaga ako pero we frequently share eye contact and there’s this awkward tension in the air whenever we’re near each other. He constantly hearts my IG stories (puro F1 or Taylor Swift lang 💀) kahit sampung slide pa yan and I can’t really rely on that because what if same kami ng mindset na i-lilike ang mga IG story na na-view na namin dahil we don’t want to come off as rude? 😭😭😭

What are signs ba na he’s also interested in me? As an introvert, I can read extroverts but not introverts. It also doesn’t help that we’re both really awkward. I don’t even know why I’m asking this. Siguro gusto ko lang ng validation or what pero it’s my first time again kasi in many years na magka-gusto intensely sa isang tao.

To my fellow AO3 users, I know some of you feel the same way. AO3 is soooo different compared to Wattpad, and I hope you guys can also share things that new users should keep in mind. I’m super worried lang kasi most of these new users are probably minors, and we know what kind of platform AO3 is.

We all heard about Wattpad’s new guidelines, and people are talking about jumping ship to AO3 so that they can publish and read 18+ content without restrictions. Honestly, that’s actually fine since AO3 allows users to publish their original works naman eh.

Pero sana naman hindi tayo magkalat doon 😭😭😭 Every AO3 reader knows the “Don’t like, Don’t read” rule. May stories doon na sobrang explicit and contain themes like incest, pedophilia, rape, gore, and etc. I know it’s fucked up, and they know it’s fucked up. If ayaw mong basahin, then wag mong basahin! Simple as that. Why does AO3 allow these stories? Because they strongly advocate for anti-censorship. Also, learn to use the freaking search filter system!!!

AO3 doesn’t have an ingrained algorithm. If gusto mong sumikat as a writer, then it isn’t the right platform for you. Walang recommendation system ang AO3. Tag your works properly and for the love of God, don’t invade tags para lang mas ma-widen ang reach niyo.

Remember, AO3 was created for fanfiction in the first place and please do respect that. Learn the etiquette and read at your own discretion lalo na kapag minor ka.

I saw a video about this on TikTok and got interested. I know it isn’t glamorous as they claim to be but I am willing to try.

I really can’t start writing a story kung wala akong outline. Sobrang detailed akong mag-outline kaya minsan nabuburn-out na ako kahit hindi pa ako nakapag-sulat ng first chapter ko. I also do an idea dump pero ang nangyayari mabubulok lang siya sa notes ko dahil feel ko walang paglalagyan sa storya.

How do you guys do it? I am trying to find ways kasi to overcome this problem and baka may techniques kayo na pwede kong ma-adapt.
