We have had beetle issues for 2 months. The pest control supervisor finally sent off samples and they came back as fungus eating beetles, and we noticed the floorboards were buckling. The super ripped them up today, and there are all these black / gray spots. They say they tracked it back to a leak in my neighbor’s radiator and that that should be the end of it…but I don’t know. They aren’t offering a mold specialist or testing. What are my remedies / what are you supposed to do in this situation? Thanks in advance!

I am seeing a million of these mainly in / near my bed al of a sudden. Saw my first last week and then exploded last night / this morning. My digging suggests some sort of grain beetle like saw-toothed but I have never once eaten in my bedroom and I don’t see them in the actual kitchen?? My super came and sprayed home defense around my room but idk if that will help if I’m not sure where they’re coming from. Help! Thank you 🙏

I’ve found 5 of these in my apartment in the last week. They are tiny (maybe 1mm), black, have wings that aren’t immediately obvious until they flare….but even then the bug seems reluctant to fly. Any guesses??? AI has suggested winged ants or small beetles but idk about those suggestions. All help appreciated, thank you!!

Would note I do have my fiddle leaf fig located very close to my bed…not sure if related
