I’m not good at these things so forgive my silly question, but I’ve been using real debrid and the streamio app for a couple years on my laptop with no issues. I now have access to a smart television. I can add the streamio app to the tv, but I’ve heard of people being blocked or banned for using different devices or maybe it’s different VPNs, I’m not sure. Can I use my existing real debrid account on the smart TV without getting banned or whatever?

What should I do?

I’ve been caring for my elderly mother who has end stage COPD. She can’t walk across the room without struggling for air and had her continuous flow oxygen set at 4. She can’t drive and has no access to stores without me. She is an addict and has made huge improvements since I moved in with her two years ago.

She currently take’s Suboxone to manage her opioid addiction, chews 2mg nicotine gum ALL DAY long, and drinks coffee ALL DAY. She spends $200+ of her $900 monthly income on her vices. It’s important to know that this isn’t a huge improvement from where she was two years ago. When I moved in two years ago she was smoking (my cousin was driving her to get cigarettes) and taking heavy doses of edibles in addition to her current vices. I chased my cousin off and refused to get her cannabis products because she would get so high she couldn’t walk. She’s in a much better place now and I’m proud of her. However, none of that was her choosing. It was entirely me refusing to enable her and her having nobody else to ask.

The issue I’m facing: She had a tooth extraction 5 days ago and hasn’t been able to chew so she’s 5 days off of nicotine for the first time in LITERALLY 43 years. It seems like a fantastic chance to give up once and for all. She only today asked me if I’d get her some and I said we’d talk about it once her tooth was a bit more healed. She said, “my gum is one of the few joys I have left in life.” I’m sure that feels real to her, but it’s absolutely her addiction talking and I know that if left to her own choices she’d never quit any of her vices.

I’m inclined to make a savings account for all the money she would spend on nicotine gum, and use it to fly her granddaughter up here every Christmas. Because I know that’s a true joy in life.

My question is, should I stand in and not allow her to have nicotine anymore?
Is she right as a 72-year-old woman with very little going on in her life?
Maybe I should pick and choose my battles differently?

TLDR: Should I force my 72year old disabled addict mother to quit nicotine gum because I actually have that power?

Anyone know if it’s wheelchair accessible? My niece is in town and I thought it would be fun to take her, but I know sometimes historic buildings don’t have to be wheelchair accessible.

I’ve never been to the knitting factory, but I have GA tickets for a show on Friday. The problem is that I injured my foot and won’t be able or willing to stand very long at all. When purchasing the tickets it only shows the downstairs space available to purchase from. I’ve been reading on here that some people go to the District Bar (I have also never been there) before the show and then can somehow get in to the upstairs space that (I think) has seats. Is this true and if so is it true for all shows, including the ones that only sell tickets for the downstairs? Any other tips or advice would be welcomed. I’d like to see the show, but not at the expense of my healing. Thanks in advance!

My partner just moved to Spokane and he’s looking for a fun place to ride. He’s specifically is into “twisties” and riding fast. I do not ride, but figured since he moved here for me the least I could do is reach out and see if y’all have any recommendations. Thanks in advance!
