In September I will be running a half marathon for a fantastic charity called ending life’s taboo.
Ending lifes taboo is a UK charity providing rapid access to specialist counselling for adults aged 18 to 45 living with a life limiting illness, as well as support for their families. Founded after the loss of 27-year-old Ross to melanoma, the charity exists to ensure no young person has to face the fear and emotional impact of a terminal diagnosis without psychological support. Working alongside the NHS at Colchester and Ipswich hospitals, they fill an often overlooked gap in end of life care by providing help when it’s needed most. (endinglifestaboo.com)
Having been on a weight loss journey and lost 70 lbs since January this marathon will be a huge accomplishment for me, but more importantly I would love to raise as much as possible for this fantastic charity and the incredible work they do. If you are considering supporting me, drop me a dm for the justgiving link, I cannot post it because Reddit keeps filtering me.
Thankyou

Why is my fundraiser post being immediately filtered out by Reddit?
In January I decided enough was enough and it was time to lock in. I was waking up every 45 minutes due to sleep apnea and was prediabetic. I got myself a Garmin, a gym membership and got to it. I still have a little way to go. But I can sleep again and climb a flight of steps without heart palpitations. I will be hitting a half marathon next month. So far longest run is 17km.
