Moving broadband to new home while i WFH

So i need some advice im moving to a new flat and want to transfer my Plusnet connection to the new address im on month 2 of my 24 month contract and i work from home so i cant miss a minute on broadband and my work pc only works via ethernet. So now the question is how do i get plusnet to activate my line at my new house without any delays or cutting of my current line i thought about applying for a new provider at the new flat but If i cancel plusnet id have to pay a huge early termination fee so im kind of stuck, i called virgin media and they said my new address has virgin media connection already so i wont need an engineer it would be self installation so i thought to myself can i not get a 30 day rolling contract for virgin media at the new flat and use that for work while i put in a request to transfer my line on plusnet to the new flat and that way the day plusnet activates il just cancel virgin and wont loose a day of connection. Can this work can a house have two lines virgin and open reach at the same time?

Full time law at ou and balancing work.

Hi i want some information about doing full time law at OU ive just completed my first year of part time law at university of Buckingham where i was attending one evening per week. I got 90 credits. But im about to start a new job which has rotating shift patterns which will definitely cause me problems in attending the classes at my university so i was looking to switch to OU for flexibility as i dont want to stop or pause my degree. Now my question is, how are the exams conducted at OU is it mostly written essays/problem questions i have to submit by a dead line or is there also live assessments where i have to have my camera on and write the assessment in realtime is there one fixed day for exams or do they give the flexibility to chose the day i can do them? I dont mind having alot of workload and assignments that i have to submit by a set date thats fine i can do that im just worried that there will be exams on a specific day which i will have to sit as that would cause me problems because i dont have fixed days off.

Casual earnings and how to report

So i am on UC with LCWRA and i do zero hours work which i have reported to uc and they auto deduct my earnings every month. This month i had applied for a job on indeed they called me in for a 4 day paid training to see if id be fit for the role i went and in the end they paid me £100 for travel expenses but they did not pay through PAYE. This was a training funded by my local council and was conducted by a recruitment agency who paid directly to my account. Other than this i did one adhoc shift through this app for temporary work i only did this once and got paid 62 and found out after this was not paye either. So obviously i am not self employed and nor do i wont to be so what do i do how do i report this to UC as i dont want to be self employed as this was a one time thing.

Enhance review joint claim appointment cancellation

Hi so i recently switched my single universal credit claim to a joint claim with my partner who has NRPF and is ineligible to UC we completed all to-dos etc our statement was supposed to release on the 11th it didn’t show i chased them up and we suddenly got a msg saying im being reviewed by enhanced review team and was send a todo to upload documents etc and was booked for a call appointment on the 16th june, a few minutes later i received a msg from the review team saying Please disregard the previous msg about evidence appointment review. And my statement also started show on my account which was not showing before. But now the to-do is still showing up on my account for the review so im confused has my review been cancelled or they still want me to upload its very confusing we received our first uc payment aswell on this new joint claim few days after.

Joint UC claim with NRPF

Hi so i need some advice i myself am British and have been on universal credit for while as a single claimant i recently moved in with my partner who is in UK on a dependent visa because she married me. I am also on PIP benefit. My wife has a no recourse to public funds condition in her visa so she is not entitled to UC which is fine. We made a joint claim and linked accounts on UC now my question is regarding housing element, i am exempt from the shared accommodation rate so i get the 1 bedroom rate of the housing element due to pip so when i declare my housing costs now do i put the full rent or half for example our total rent is 800 me and my wife both are on the tenancy agreement so when i declare rent should i put the full 800 or do i have to half it and put 400 due to her NRPF status im very confused because if someone who was not on pip got the 1 bed rate that would be a breach but i have a exemption due to pip. Im still confused though.

Housing costs keeps getting denied.

hi, so i was getting rent from uc for close to a tear before i moved house im on PIP and lcwra aswell, i moved house updated UC and uploaded a new tenancy agreement (house share agreement) with just my name on it not the other tenants i also gave bank statement showing proof of address. it was initially accepted then i got a msg saying it was approved in error and it was actually referred to the review team. i then had a phone appointment with them were i was asked to provide crazy information such as a letter from landlord, gas safety certificate of the house, proof of rent payment, nhs letter showing address utility bills. I uploaded everything apart from gas safety certificate as i couldn’t force my landlord to send me that as its a very odd thing to ask for and realistically i suffer from really bad anxiety so i didnt want to bother him i had already asked for a letter confirming i rent from him. Anyway this all got rejected even though i gave electricity, water bills nhs letter and even a proof of rent transfer to my lead tenants account. i was then asked to re apply which i did as i thought maybe this happened because my initial tenancy agreement did not have all the tenants names on it so i managed to get my landlord to make a proper joint tenancy agreement which his agency issued with all tenants names including mine, so now its a assured short hold tenancy agreement and no longer house share Agreement. I uploaded this and it went to review again this time on the phone appointment they asked me to only send proof of council tax bill and bank statement showing rent going to the lead tenan. I instantly sent them this yet its failed verification agai. its starting to feel like they have a personal pro with me, my question is is it because the rent transfer proof im showing them is a transfer to lead tenant and not landlord directly even though in my landlord letter he stated this arrangement is what he wants. Basically all tenants pay lead tenant who then sends to landlord all at once
